Collaboration is at the heart of our family game studio.

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity share how our team collaborates to bring our audience the best experience in Meta Horizon at the Game Developers Conference at Moscone Center in San Francisco. This is the first of a new series sharing some of our story as a family run VR/mobile game developer team. Let us know what you think below! 👇

🧸“Kawaii’s Build A Buddy Surprise” is a cute little store where you can customize your own stuffed animal. Start off by picking a random box, then open it to reveal which buddy you got. After that, you stuff it with cotton, color it to any shade you desire, give it a name and add accessories if you choose to. When you’re happy with it, there’s a great selfie spot to do a little photoshoot. When finished, you can recycle your buddy so someone else can enjoy it :)

Homeschooling in VR with @wooorld.io on @metaquest! Special thanks to Splinter and ZurJosh for their expertise and showing our family some of the best 360 views in the world! Globetrotting in VR with 5 of my kids is pretty amazing! #Squad #TeamKawaii

We had so much fun recreating our donut shop that we built on the VR platform Horizon Worlds as a miniature in the 3D modeling software Blender. Our experience building in Horizon Worlds has definitely made branching out to other 3D mediums much easier. Stay tuned for models of more worlds in the Kawaii universe as we recreate some of our most loved Horizon World creations in a miniature 3D style!
