RISE UP. ๐Ÿฅˆ place Lyra advance

As September comes to an end, I wanted this routine to mean a little more than just another performance.

September is Suicide Prevention Month โ€” a month that reminds us how important it is to speak, to listen, to check in, and to remind people that they are never as alone as they may feel.

โ€œRise Upโ€ has always felt like more than just a song to me. There is something about the idea of rising up that feels so powerful. Because sometimes life gets really dark. Sometimes you can feel completely stuck, like the darkness is all you can see and like things will never change. But darkness doesnโ€™t last forever.

You can rise from it.
You can take one more step.
You can ask for help.
You can let someone in.
You can start again.

even when starting again feels impossible. And sometimes rising up doesnโ€™t look like being strong or having everything figured out. Sometimes it simply means making it through another day.

If you are struggling right now, please donโ€™t feel like you have to carry it all by yourself. Tell someone. Talk to a friend, a family member, a coach, a teacher, a professional โ€” anyone you trust. You donโ€™t have to wait until things get โ€œbad enoughโ€ to deserve help.

And please check in on the people around you, too. Sometimes the people who seem the happiest, strongest or most okay can be fighting battles that nobody else can see. A message, a conversation, or a simple โ€œare you okay?โ€ can mean more than you realise.

I also couldnโ€™t have done this without some of the most amazing people around me. The people who have supported me, believed in me, listened to me, encouraged me and reminded me to keep going when things felt hard. You know who you are and I genuinely couldnโ€™t be more grateful to have you in my life.

This routine is my little reminder that there is always more beyond the darkness. That your story doesnโ€™t end at your hardest chapter. That falling doesnโ€™t mean you canโ€™t get back up.

You can rise up.
You can keep going.
You are worth staying for.

September may be coming to an end, but looking out for each other shouldnโ€™t. ๐Ÿค
