$Glory to God for the success of @chariscare_ food drive for the month of September. We couldn't have achieved this without your generosity. One thing that actually stood out for me today was the opportunity to talk about God's word with this kids. I had an interesting conversation regarding the gospel of Christ with this kids & more particularly we had a short argument(lol) about the proof that Jesus died,rose again and lives forever and I was glad that I was able to not just show them proof but make them aware that Jesus is actually better than all the different choices life throws at us. Folks just in case you have a similar question like this kids,please know that the fact that Jesus Christ died for 3 days, rose again & lives forever is not a myth but a fact that has historical evidences to back it up! Though Jesus wasn’t the first person who was resurrected from the dead, He himself raised people back from the dead{Lazarus and Jairus’ daughter are two examples. (John 11:43-44, Mark 5:41-42)}, but what makes Jesus’ resurrection special and outstanding? Jesus is the first man who rose back to life never to die again. Like @pst_iren said, "God made a statement through the resurrection of Jesus to all men that eternal life and its assurance can only be found in Christ." Only a person who has eternal life can promise you & actually give you eternal life.Only a ‘religion’ with a risen saviour can boast and assure men of eternal life. The resurrection is the crux of the gospel. This is our message to the world; that Jesus died, was buried, and was raised back to life on the third day and that anyone who believes is made a beneficiary of His work. #chariscare #charity #Jesusisbetter #Jesuslovesyou #give #pstiren$
