ReaperFest 2026 was a huge privilege to be able to participate in. We met some awesome people and made lifelong friends. I want to thank everyone that has been along this journey with me, it’s been one heck of a ride so far, with much more to go! Thank you @zrandy_reaperboats and the @reaperboats crew for always treating me like family!

Crawdaddies // Alexandria, LA

For our Mossy Oak Drift line. Read more ⬇️

I’ve wanted to shoot a crawfish farm since I picked up a camera. So, when my friends started a crawfish farm…it was a no-brainer that I had to go.

Had the pleasure of spending a few days with my friends Charles, Forrest, and Ashley in Louisiana and Mississippi for a combo crawfish harvest and turkey hunt. Thank y’all for your hospitality!

One of the best parts of my job is that I get to spend time with exceptional, ordinary folks on the daily. These are folks just living their lives and I here I come parachuting in for a day or two and slow them down while I try my best to capture “their thing” in a few frames. They are eternally patient and incredibly giving with their time. These are people that you can meet and know for just a little bit and you feel like you’ve known them your whole life. It is truly “instant old friends.” It’s not just a clever marketing strategy from Mossy Oak Companions. It’s a real thing.

Thanks for letting me stick my camera in your face.

Grateful that I’m not an accountant and that I get to “work” for @mossyoak and tell these stories.

Hope you enjoy!

My view of March & April // FL, MS, AL, TX, LA

Every season, about this time, I’m compelled to look back at the people and places the wild turkey has brought into my life. It’s given more to me than I’ve ever given to it. Turkey season goes by too soon. You look up and a third of the year is gone already. It’s hard not be so focused on the details that you miss the bigger picture. So here’s a few wide shots to show the bigger picture. What a time. There’s still a few sunrises yet to catch before it’s over, though.

Only close to a year late, but figured I’d finally get around to making a post about ending a boat owning chapter of my life.
People say the happiest days of owning a boat is the day you buy and the day you sell it. Well I wouldn’t say this “people” had the experiences in this thing that I did. It was a rough day for me for sure. Closing one chapter and starting a new one. This thing had been with me through so dam much. From my first redfishing trips to proposing to my beautiful wife in it and taking each of my kids and dog for their first boat rides, first fish, just so many first. So many beach days. So many incredible days on the water with the best friends in my life. So many muddy days and ducks. There’s more than just sweetwater in that gel coat. Hundreds of thousands of hours on the water doing anything and everything the Gulf Coast has to offer. Getting parking tickets for it at Nicholls, backed in with precision in a few tight spaces in the different places we’ve lived. Used as an extra fuel tank for hurricanes. Hell it’s even been in plenty of redfish tournaments as well as a Bassmaster Tournament. The list almost never ends. That day last year was a rough one for me, but a good one. Couldn’t have asked for a better person for it to go to than Charles. From one generation to the next. Maybe even to make many of the same memories over again and hopefully many more decades to come. As nervous as I was about it, little did I know how much more the next chapter of skiff would bring. Stay tuned for more on that…
