Thank you soooo much to everyone who came and supported me and @reverberatefilm today! (Even though @charlesdcarpenter’s car broke down on the way, he was there in spirit!)

Was a blast to be on another panel after the screening, and to accept the award with some friends in the audience this time. 😅

Met some truly talented filmmakers, and got to celebrate at Roscoe’s chicken a waffles. Pretty great day in Compton 🤍🎬

Sometimes the person in your corner isn’t there to fight for you. They’re there to remind you that you can fight for yourself. 🥊

That’s a wrap on RESET 🎬🎞️

After months of work, we’ve officially reached the end of production, and I couldn’t be more grateful to our incredible cast, crew, and everyone who helped bring this film to life through pre-production, production, and post.

RESET was a massive undertaking, one that pushed so many of us outside our comfort zones, challenged us to try new things, and gave us the freedom to make something that feels fresh, strange, and completely our own.

I’m incredibly proud of what we made. I truly believe this is my best film yet, and that wouldn’t have been possible without the talent, trust, and hard work of everyone who took this journey with us.

I can’t wait to share more of RESET with you and cheers to our first festival submissions! 🥂

A special thanks to everyone who worked on this project. We truly couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

You probably know @shaan_sharma best as #Shmuel in @dallas.jenkins ‘s @thechosentvseries

But Shaan is also a tireless champion of artist‑driven work and a builder of deep creative community. In BIG LAW, he brings razor‑sharp craft to OSCAR BOLTZ — a questionable, complicated character who never collapses into a stereotypical “lawyer.” We’re never quite sure if Oscar is out for himself or not, and Shaan keeps that question alive in every scene.

We are excited to announce Shaan Sharma in “Big Law” For Your Emmy® Consideration — Performer in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series, as you have done with the actors and the categories.

We wrapped filming on RESET.
It’s honestly surreal, this started as an idea I had years ago, something small that just kept growing. To now be on the other side of production feels incredibly special. It’s such an honor to be able to make something like this at all, to take an idea and bring it to life with people who care just as deeply.
This project was nurtured and shaped by my incredible collaborators, and an amazing team who believed in it every step of the way. The amount of support I felt throughout this process is something I don’t take lightly.
Our cast and crew were truly exceptional. The performances are incredible, and behind the camera, everyone showed up with talent, passion, and generosity. More than that, we all genuinely got along it was the kind of set where you looked forward to showing up, to catching up, to building something together every day.
And what we made… it’s bigger than I imagined. It really feels like we have something special.
In a lot of ways, this project has been a reset for me too, but more than anything, it feels like a beginning. I’m incredibly proud of what we captured and feel confident heading into post.
We’ll be in post over the next few months and can’t wait to share more soon.
Thank you for being part of this.
Daniel

How lucky am I that the man who played my coach in REVERBERATE - @charlesdcarpenter - is someone who has been a coach, friend and brother to me in real life. Probably the most challenging performance in the film was when I had to pretend I didn’t trust this man, lol.

We hit our initial goal!

RESET is heading into pre-production.

And it’s because of you.

My last film only existed because of a community like this and now @resetshortfilm2026 does too. That means more to me than I can put into words. Independent films don’t get made alone. They get made because people decide to believe in them.

Every dollar. Every repost. Every “you have to check this out” text. This is what a village looks like.
Now we’re heading into our stretch goals and every extra cent goes straight onto the screen:

STRETCH GOALS:
$17,000 - ✨ Additional VFX
$18,000 - 🎨 Elevated Production Design
$19,000 - 🎬 Post-production polish & contingency
$20,000 🏆 Festival submission fees

If you’ve already backed us, thank you. Truly.
If you’ve been waiting, there’s still time to help us level up.
Let’s finish strong!
