Let’s Get Physical Vol 4

We’re looking at our January physical media watches. Last month saw a deep dive into Park Chan-wook (ranking post to come), a handful of Aussie gems, and one film that takes weird and kinky to a whole new level.

What discs were in your player in Jan? Seen any of these?

The great thing about out getting older is that you don’t lose all the other ages you’ve been.

Recent memories of friends taking pics of me, me taking pics of friends and a couple of old pics I’ve found recently!

Quick heads up that #TimeAddicts has a little in common w/ #Predestination.

Addicts Denise #FreyaTingley & Johnny #CharlesGrounds are in need of a fix, but not really able to pay their dealer Kane #JoshuaMorton. Heck, they’re already into him for quite a bit. To clear that debt, they have to break into an abandoned house & steal a bag of crystal meth. He warns them not to use it, but we all know that kind of restraint is beyond them.

Johnny snorts a line & vanishes. Before Denise can react, she meets herself from the future. The meth is a #timetravel device. You snort it & think of when you want to be. Johnny’s currently 25 yrs in the past. Where he is, the house is nice, but more importantly owned by an undercover cop, Tracey #EliseUansen. Instead of arresting him though, she has sex w/ him.

So, while Denise is following cryptic messages left by Johnny in the past, she discovers a secret about Kane, which will change her life. But that’s nothing compared to what she learns when she finally reconnects w/ Johnny!

To go into more detail risks spoiling the intricate plot. It’s a clever, Australian #film that I couldn’t pass up. Time travel is my kryptonite! I’ve also enjoyed Tingley’s past work. It’s worth checking out. #movie #movies #films #screeningoftheday #SciFi #SciFiFilm #SciFiFilms
