Sitting in my own privilege I recognized too that I can as a black man take better care of one another.
I had to pull up on my high school in Detroit.
It’s easy to forget where you are from if you haven’t been back in a minute or in a year or several years. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Some of us need to see US doing well!
Keep HOPE alive. “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” I’m from Detroit!
I want to be clear I didn’t make it out!!
There was nothing that I needed to make it out of other than my sin.

On Thanksgiving Night let’s take a look at a team that’s had a great turnaround this season.
-
A year ago, the #CentralMichigan Chippewas were 1-11 with their only win being a 17-5 triumph over FCS Maine. Their offense was #129 out of 130 teams in points per play and dead last in yards per play. They were quite clearly the worst offense in the FBS. They were also winless in MAC play and finished dead last in the MAC West standings. In the offseason they hired former Florida HC Jim McElwain in hopes he could get things turned around.

Tomorrow afternoon the Chippewas will play against Toledo in a game where they’ll clinch the MAC West with a win. They’re 7-4 and their offense has jumped to #49 in points per play and #31 in yards per play. After WMU’s loss to Northern Illinois on Tuesday night, CMU would be in sole possession of the division with a win tomorrow.
