👻 Meet our SPOOKtacular poster artist, illustrator + glass artist extraordinaire, @tiakinsmanart! 🧟‍♂️🪦 🦋💀🌿 With a fondness for fantasy, the macabre, nature + art nouveau, Tia brings her own uniquely haunting flair to illustrations and glass artwork. Legends, fairy tales, religious mythology + the occult inspire a world populated by bugs, skulls, strange flora + fauna, where the creepy and the beautiful tend to grow together. 🔥🖌️ Her work spans watercolor, gouache + fountain pen inks, Tiffany-style stained glass, lampworking + glass blowing. After more than 5 years working in stained glass, Tia added glass blowing + lampworking to her repertoire in early 2025 - and has been expanding what she calls the Ether World, her little glass world of spooky fantasy flora + fauna! 🪦🪴 For Halloween, she told us she’s going heavy on cemetery domes - tiny macabre ecosystems under glass filled with carnivorous plants, mushrooms, bones, skulls, ghosts + other strange specimens. Swipe through and you’ll also find ghost orchids, death bells, death’s-head moths, haunted houses, eyeballs, Baba Yaga-inspired chicken feet + stained glass oddities. 🏚️🐈‍⬛🌳 It all feels pretty appropriate for an artist who lists lurking in old cemeteries among her hobbies, and shares her studio with two bunnies, carnivorous plants + a hoard of skulls. 🖤 Catch @tiakinsmanart vending THURSDAY at @howbazaarexpo - Boston’s only truly spooky market: a curated collection of curiosities, a sensational selection of the boldly bizarre, a menagerie of the magically macabre, a vast variety of vendors with strange stuff! 🪄✨ Thurs. + Fri. Oct. 29 & 30, 5-10pm: 100+ mystical merchants will appear at the @charlesriverspeedway in Brighton Boston MA (525 Western Ave 02135) to sell wicked weird & witchy wares! 🎟️ Admission: FREE, all ages 🎃 See our pinned post for full details! . . . . The street fair may have fallen through but we gotta show off our newest fighters to the home crowd somehow so we’re closing out the year with one more event @notchbrewing @charlesriverspeedway You all know we love throwing to the crowd to decide our winners, but this time around we’ll be running a lil tournament where striking to land points will be the determining factor. In the next few weeks we will set up a bracket which will be the main focus of this event. The Champ will be awarded a special grand prize (details of which are being worked out now) 👀 So grab a drink, bring a blanket and get cozy around the list because our fighters are gonna want to put it all out there to get to the top spot ⚔️💚😈🤍⚔️ Saturday Nov. 7th Fights 6-8pm Free to attend All ages The Speedway 525 Western Ave. Brighton, MA Flyer by: @gendercraft #buhurt #armoredcombat #medieval #flyer #boston
