I had such a gloriously hot and happy visit to the historic house of @charleswilliamsstudio and Anna in Faversham today to look at work and to discuss the possibility of a forthcoming show .. and I loved both the portraits of Charles, couldn’t select a hero, so included them both standing alongside his self portrait!

These two works have never been shown in the UK before. they are from my solo show 'Girls like Us' in Sri Lanka in 2015 and they travelled by sea shipment all the way back to the UK! Since then they've been hiding away in my studio and I am so delighted that @ferhafarooqui selected them for our new show Urban Sublime with the @urbancontemporariesgroup . These are 2 out of 5 works I will be showing at the Coningsby Gallery, Fitzrovia (30 Tottenham Street).

We are very excited to be opening our show tomorrow with a talk from Mireille Galinou, art and urban historian and retired Lead Curator at the Museum of London. The Private View is tomorrow night - Tuesday 5th July, 6-9pm! If you would like to attend please RSVP to ferhafarooqui39@googlemail.com.

Also listen to my radio interview with @spizzorwell (link in my bio) where @janepalmgoldart & @ferhafarooqui talk about our pieces in the show.

Other artists in the line up are:
@frankcreber @susannedutoit2353 @gethinvevans
@ferhafarooqui @timothy_hyman @mjohnson_studio @saraharte11 @elizabethmccarten_studio @janepalmgoldart @al_pemberton @melissa.scottmiller @grant_watson_paintings @charleswilliamsstudio
@trevorburgesspaintings @philippa.beale

It is such a fantastic show, not to be missed!
