Hey hey hey! I’ve been a little quiet over here, juggling the 9 to 5 life (yep, I’m a state worker by day if you didn’t know), freelance projects, and now a move. 🙃

While I might not be the most active on here right now, I highly recommend following my current freelance clients to see what we are building together - @yellowbrickgroup (that’s where @towerdistrictsacramento and now 🥁@ourstreetmarket comes in) and @topstitch.production. I’ve been lucky to support them with social strategy, storytelling, creative execution, and even some event producing.

All that to say, I’m choosing peace over burnout. Letting myself rest between the hustle and bustle of living a double life and trying not to be so hard on myself for missing self-imposed deadlines. One of those being… my website. And full transparency, I probably won’t launch it until I feel like I’m in a place to take on more work.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now. Just a gentle reminder that the world is loud right now, so be extra kind to yourself. 💛

Keeping it light, keeping it fun because it’s SWD’s birthday week! Official 10 year anniversary is this Thursday and looking forward to celebrating with some friends! 🥂

Running a little sale in my shop all week to get the celebration started! I’d love to host a giveaway soon as well, so stay tuned for more details on that!

Lastly, planning for a shop update Friday May 23rd. I have some fun new summer ready pieces I’d like to get out in the online world—save the date!

Thank you for the overwhelming love and blessings you all have sent our way as we prepare to welcome our baby into the world. We celebrated our baby shower this weekend, and our hearts are still full. Cherrie and I have been in each other’s lives for over ten years, and now we’ve created something even more beautiful — a life. Our friends have always called us mom and dad, and now we’re finally stepping into those roles for real.

Thank you for the gifts, the laughter, the hugs, the memories, and to everyone who helped make this celebration as meaningful as the next chapter we’re stepping into. Shoutout to @whiskcakecreations for the cake and cupcakes, @charli_cash (@charlimadeit) for bringing our backdrop vision to life, the Brosas sisters (@peachypeach and @thehoney_hive) for hosting, and our incredible friends and family who traveled near and far to celebrate with us.
