How lucky are we? How blessed are we?

Those are two questions I have asked myself since the wheels took off of the runway in Toronto to come home. Did things end the way we wanted it to? No. But we gained something far more than a title. We were fortunate enough to be on the 2025 Toronto Blue Jays team. One that shook Canada to its core, made people fall in love with baseball again, brought an entire country together. We laughed together, we cried together, we went on a month long rollercoaster bender together. We loved one another and truly enjoyed being around one another. I have never experienced anything like it in baseball - everyone coming together and supporting each other and families molded together by one common love, baseball.

People see the loss of a title - but I see the gain of far more than that. The grit, determination, uplifting companionship - the comeback boys. I see the stressful travel, the sadness of injuries, the adaptation of children being constantly put on a plane to keep the family together. The women behind the scenes - the glue that holds things together. The Blue Jays had some of baseball’s finest.

I have a lot more to say, and maybe one of these days I will - about our Toronto Blue Jays story. But, for now, I will just say it was such an amazing privilege to be a part of this team, this organization, this ride, this moment for all of Canada.

Calling all Blue Jays fans- I need your help.

On May 23, 2026, I got to live every baseball fan’s dream.

In the bottom of the 1st inning, George Springer hit a home run off Paul Skenes, and somehow that baseball ended up in my hands while I was wearing my number 4 Springer jersey.

I’ve been a Blue Jays fan for as long as I can remember. I played baseball growing up and spent years defending my love for the game and the Blue Jays in a hockey-crazy country.

To me, this isn’t just a baseball. It’s the ultimate souvenir. A once-in-a-lifetime memory that I’ll keep forever.

The only thing that could make this story even more special would be having George Springer sign it.

I know George’s time is incredibly valuable, so if that opportunity were ever possible, I’d be happy to make a donation to a charity of his choice as a way of paying it forward.

If anyone can help get this story in front of George, the Blue Jays, Jays Care, Sportsnet, TSN, or anyone connected to the organization, I’d be incredibly grateful.

Let’s see what the power of Blue Jays fans can do.

Thank you to @jennyehaag and the entire @bluejays organization for selecting me to paint an 8 piece gallery for the Blue Jays new Rogers Terrace located at the 200 level behind home plate. This was one of the most meaningful projects I’ve had the honour of doing.

My first connection to the Blue Jays was through @vladdyjr27 who hired me to paint a piece honouring First Base Coach Budzinski’s daughter after she tragically passed away. An incredible gesture and human.

Tag a Blue Jays fan!!!!
