finally the camp post!!

this was my first year serving as a staff member after being a camper for about 3 years. i was a bit nervous and had some anxiety over quite a few things this week but instead of letting it get the best of me, I trusted God and he truly showed me not to worry. Philippians 4:6-7 says “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” basically meaning to bring all of your worries to him and let him do the rest. Oh how good our God is.

Even though I was dealing with my own troubles, I am so incredibly grateful i could still have fun throughout the week, interact and connect with different campers and staffers this year and even strengthen current friendships as well. I will forever thank God for this camp and the people who make camp such an amazing place for everyone to grow in his glory.

oh also, let’s give a big shout out to me larping a minion

seriously, can someone teach me how to dougie?!

I’m thankful for so much this year at MDSC‼️ here are just a few of my favorite memories:

- blue team mogging everyone
- romeo and juliet and clip beard
- giggling around the clock with my sweet angel campers
- babies and volleyball
- learning more than ever about identity in Christ
- LARPing as a hobby horse enthusiast 🐎

make sure to clap it up for this post and drop your favorite memories below!! #elevenseven 🙈
