charlotte women’s tennis - ✨artsy✨ edition

I got really inspired by work i kept seeing on here from the US Open and really wanted to try emulating some of that in my work.

Tennis has always been an “easier” sport for me to shoot since it’s probably the one I’m most familiar with. But with that being said, the repetitiveness of it can make it boring at times. So going into this event I tried to challenge myself to view the sport through a more “artistic” lens, and I’m pretty pleased with the result!

Spent some time visiting UNCC and watching the match between Charlotte and UTSA.

College recruiting is not only about rankings, UTR, or scholarships. It is also about finding the right environment. Walking around campus, seeing the facilities, library, student areas, and getting a feel for everyday life is a big part of the process too.

For many players and families, this is the side they rarely get to see. Here is a small look into campus life and college tennis at Charlotte.
