POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yesterday, on top of a mountain surrounded by the people we love most, I became Mrs. Herron. 🤍

I still don’t think I’ve fully processed how magical this weekend was. To every single person who traveled near and far to stand beside us, celebrate with us, laugh with us, cry with us, and witness the beginning of this next chapter… thank you. We felt so incredibly loved.

The day went by in what felt like seconds, and I already wish I could rewind it and live every moment all over again. Thankfully, our amazing photographer Daniela gave us the sweetest little sneak peek, and naturally I couldn’t resist turning these photos into something while I impatiently wait to relive the rest. 🥹

Brent, I would choose you in every lifetime.

Here’s to forever, Mr. & Mrs. Herron. 🤍🥂

Last year, at the Biltmore Estate, one question changed the course of our lives. 💍

Now, in less than 60 days, we’ll stand on a mountaintop in Banner Elk with Grandfather Mountain stretching out in front us and promise each other forever. 👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️

This past year hasn’t just been about planning a wedding. It’s been about building a life. Starting businesses. Navigating challenges. Choosing each other on the easy days and the hard ones. Protecting our relationship while creating a day that reflects who we truly are.

People often think a wedding is about the flowers, the dress, the music, or the timeline.

For us, it’s about something so much bigger.

It’s about opening the doors to our little love story and inviting the people who have shaped us, encouraged us, laughed with us, cried with us, and loved us into the same room. Whether we’re connected by blood or by life, every single person receiving an invitation was chosen intentionally. You are part of our story.

Our wedding isn’t just a celebration of one day. It’s a thank you.

Thank you for helping us become the people we needed to be to find each other.

Thank you for believing in us.

Thank you for making the journey to celebrate with us over a holiday weekend.

Our greatest hope isn’t that our guests remember the décor or the menu. It’s that they leave feeling the love that has been poured into every detail, every handwritten note, every surprise, every song, every moment.

Because this day has never been about putting on a wedding.

It’s about celebrating a marriage.

Here’s to one year of being engaged since “yes”… and a lifetime of choosing each other. ✨

POV: you spend the afternoon romanticizing Asheville instead of doom scrolling on the couch at home.

Coffee + flowers @pollenavl , then wandering through the newly revived River Arts District Asheville soaking in local art, blown glass, woodwork, oils, creativity, and the kind of energy that reminds you why supporting local matters. 🤍

Days like this make me love this little mountain city even more. Slow mornings, good coffee, local artists, sunshine, and quality time with my kids.

If you’re visiting Asheville soon, add this to your list immediately.

Yesterday was George’s Army commissioning ceremony after graduating college the day before… and somehow it felt even bigger.

This is the moment his childhood dream officially became reality. Ever since he was a little boy, he’s wanted this life, this purpose, this path. And yesterday, we all stood there watching him step fully into it.

His Uncle Robert gave him his first salute. His grandfather George and I had the honor of pinning him during his oath ceremony while the people who love him most looked on with pride, emotion, and probably all trying not to cry in public.

Watching your child become the man he was always meant to be is impossible to put into words.

We are so unbelievably proud of you, Lieutenant George. 🇺🇸

Four years, countless late nights, probably an alarming amount of dining hall food, and somehow this tiny blonde-haired boy who used to run around in camo with army toys and an airsoft gun is now a college graduate. We really do blink once and suddenly there’s a cap and gown involved. 🎓

This weekend in Bloomsburg has been full of so many emotions celebrating George and everything he’s accomplished. Watching him nervously wait to walk across that stage, and ending the day together as a family was something I’ll hold onto forever.

I’m endlessly proud of the man he’s becoming and so excited for this next chapter as he moves home and steps into adult life.

Congratulations, George. We love you more than words can say. 🎓🤍

Birthday dinners used to look like just Leah and me sharing bread and life updates at this little Greek spot we loved when I lived in Fort Lauderdale. It was our place.

Fast forward a few years and I’m back at the same table, but now with Brent, Charly, my best friend, her beautiful new baby girl, and handsome man…the kind of love that only grows deeper with time.

Watching both of our families sit together, laugh together, pass plates, hold babies, and tell stories in a restaurant that holds so many memories for me… that was the real gift.

Not the candles. Not the cake.

Just being surrounded by the people who feel like home.

Some birthdays don’t just mark another year. They remind you how full your life actually is. 🤍

Winter break flew by.

Loud laughs, late nights, silly moments, and her smile filling the house every day. We loved having her home more than she’ll ever know.

Last night was our way of wrapping it all up. Her favorite food, her favorite wine, and a reminder that no matter where life takes her, this will always be home.

Missing her already, but so excited for everything ahead. Come home soon Charly 🩷
