EVERYONE is warning me about second sock syndrome so here I am knitting before the girls varsity soccer game today. Now I’m joining @barefootcrafter @charmaboutyou (who’s hanging out on the other side of my state), & @lisapinenotes for the #saturdaynightcraftalong with more knitting!

Here’s my Autumn table runner still not backed but up on the hall table to be enjoyed! Along with my newest pumpkin!
Probably won’t be carving a pumpkin this year preferring to cut it up into soup very soon.
With a friend’s funeral, anniversaries of family and (tragic) community events … Some good distractions were needed this week.
… ‘Tis pumpkin spice season and a nice wander around Budleigh chatting to lovely small business’ while DH had his noggin trimmed!

Whatever you’re doing with your pumpkins this year don’t forget it’s Breast Cancer awareness month and go get yourself checked out!

Joining @charmaboutyou @lisapinenotes and @barefootcrafter for tonight’s #saturdaynightcraftalong where I’ll be keeping warm and dry and tidying up quilt blocks and table runners!
(Plus putting the clocks back)

I was so focused on starting the heel flap last night on my first sock that I forgot to tell @barefootcrafter @charmaboutyou and @lisapinenotes that I was joining them for the #saturdaynightcraftalong ! And now I am snuggled into my blanket in the livingroom contemplating turning the heel!

My first time sewing in the conservatory - I have been kicked out of the sewing room (smallest room in the house) as the boys are turning it into a man cave.

It has taken us over a month to reorganise everything but I love my new space, it is filled with glorious light.

Joining in with #SaturdayNightCraftAlong and the magnificent @charmaboutyou

All set up for a #saturdaynightcraftalong session with @barefootcrafter @charmaboutyou @lisapinenotes and friends. Just a few more pieces of this beautiful baby set before stitching up begins…. Pattern by @woolfolkyarn_official #lillebittecollection using #snugglyyarn by @knitsirdar (made in Turkey - just in case you needed to know)

I’m spending the afternoon sewing scraps together before I hit a new project tomorrow. Pic 4: I found this remarkable remnant at the bottom of my scrap bin left over from a tunic and a couple pillows I made several years back!

I’ve actually got a project finished albeit a small (6.5”) EPP jewel shaped flower block for next years #transatlanticcommunityquilt2026
I used 6 of the @libertylondon tana lawn fabrics used since 2022.
Here’s the blocks from 2022-2025 too.
Thank you once again @suzanne.campion and @morristextiles for organising us all again.
Slight delayed joining #sipteaandepp this week with @nordiccrafter and @stitchingnotes
Also joining @charmaboutyou @lisapinenotes and @barefootcrafter for tonight’s #saturdaynightcraftalong
… Where I’m still singing along to Dolly’s songs! 👱🏻‍♀️🎤
… and thinking about our lovely dog Maisie who headed over the rainbow bridge a year ago yesterday.

Did a Liberty fabric pull for this year’s #transatlanticcommunityquilt26
Decided to do the jewel EPP design that @suzanne.campion and @morristextiles have suggested.
I own different scraps of lovely tana lawn and decided to use my favourite designs from the previous 4 years worth of quilt blocks!
Here’s 6 from medallion (22), cathedral window (23), tumbling block (24) then 25’s love and kisses blocks.
Recently spent an hour or so wandering around the ‘mothership’ with @suepetersonmosaics who used to work there.
So lovely to window shop for beautiful things that you can’t afford but it’s still nice to look at!

❤️💙💜💛💚💗
