In november 2022, I had the amazing opportunity to design the issue number 12 of tour de moon, named paraselene, thanks to editor and creative director @lux_pyre !! 🌙

A paraselene (= a moon dog) is an atmospheric optical phenomenon that consists of a bright spot to one or both sides of the Moon (thank you wikipedia hehe).
The idea Lux had was to find this light progression while reading the magazine. So, on top of the page setting of all the incredible pieces made by the artists and writers featured into the zine, I've created 6 differents gradients of blue to go along the story in the background: the zine starts with a light blue (left bright spot) background which goes dark blue to light blue (symbolize the full moon) to dark blue and finally light blue (right bright spot) again.

You can check out the online issue directly on @tour_de_moon website and I'd like to thanks once again Lux who trusted me for my very first editorial work.
Hope you like it, take care ! 🫶🌝

why we think Jeon Jungkook of BTS is an Aries Saturn ruled Capricorn Rising! 🔥✨🪐

this was such a fun live conversation to have with professional astrologers @charmastrology and @amygreensastrology as part of our little rectification project breaking down how we look an astrological chart, how different placements are embodied and relate to each other, and why it just makes more sense to us that this superstar musician was born during the day! We had a lot to say 😇🤓

We’re up for more astrological discussions and questions so let us know your thoughts! Hope this was fun and useful for you astrology and/or bangtan enthusiasts ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

thank you @charmastrology for the caption and @amygreensastrology for instigating this fun live idea! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 tune in tomorrow if you want to see how we delineate and break down charts — in a different way than usual since we’ve been doing some reverse engineering and puzzle assembly work trying to confirm a birth time 🤓 more info below!

Jeon Jungkook of BTS is a Gen Z superstar icon Saturn Aries ruled Capricorn Rising!

Join us for an IG live tomorrow, Feb 19th Sunday, at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET / 7 PM GMT

On that one fine day on February 1st, Jungkook went live for half a day 😭 and actually gave us a tattoo tour! At that moment, the small pocket of the astrology corner of the massive army fandom was rightfully freaking out because we discovered that, the clock on his arm tattoo was his actual birth time *cue My Time background music*

The way Saturn has rulership over the passage & perception of time is not lost on me *cries*

In the collective spiral that ensued, Jungkook failed to precisely share if the time 3:23 / 3:25 was AM or PM. Because of course we love to suffer/a challenge! Which leaves us with either a Leo rising Leo Moon chart or a Capricorn Rising Virgo Moon chart. As of rn, I think majority of armys from what I’ve observed are assuming it’s Leo Rising cos they think it’s just an AM time. But he really didn’t say.

Please join us professional astrologers @amygreensastrology, <kirstin_yzw and I who have been happily engaging in a casual rectification project of figuring out BTS’ birth charts!

We will go live here tomorrow, Sunday Feb 19th at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET / 7 PM GMT to talk about why after some behind-the-scenes work, we think that Jungkook is a Capricorn Rising with a Virgo Moon 🤓.

This live will be super fun for u if you’re an army who’s into astrology. We will be beginner friendly! You’ll be learning a lot about how we unpack birth charts and why focusing on just zodiac sign personality delineations are NEVER (EVER) a good enough method to assign someone’s potentially unknown rising sign.

Share with ur astrology army friends! See you tomorrow!!!

✨PLUTO IN 2023✨

EDIT: the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction was December 2021 not 2020 as it says in the slide

Pluto moves into Aquarius on March 23rd 2023, and then back into Capricorn on June 11th. From January 22nd, the outer planet will be in Aquarius until 2044.

This is especially important for fixed (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) sign people, those with important planets or points early in those signs, and those with late cardinal placements.

With the Earth to Air transition of the slowest-moving outer planet, we will be getting echoes of 2020. What shifts and themes have emerged since the last Saturn-Pluto conjunction in January 2020 and the cardinal transits of that year?

Pluto’s movements will also build on the 0° Aquarius Jupiter-Saturn conjunction of December 2021. The boundary between Saturn’s signs is going to be particularly active over the next few years, highlighting those houses in your chart.

Pluto asks us to hold complexity and multiplicity while continuing to seek truth in what’s important. It’s shift until fixed air marks death and renewal moving into a new cycle, at both micro and macroscopic levels.

As we look to the future, Pluto asks us to examine what no longer works — what we must intentionally bury in order to strategize and work with new information. Pluto in Aquarius demands we move with integrity and resist extremes.

How do you want to approach spaces of innovation in your life? What hidden work does this require?

How do you relate to grief at both a small and large scale?

How can you hold wide-scale connectedness alongside local intimacy?

What guiding principles and truths will help you create long-term frameworks?

Join us on December 28th to talk about what this means for you and how to move with these transits! Tiered pricing is available and we are offering seven free spots for QTBIPOCs who can’t afford it. Recordings + slides will be provided.

It was such a delight to share space with three brilliant astrologers last Friday on Venusian Afternoons - an emerging forecast segment on @thestrologyshow ! It was such a soulful treat to receive the wisdom shared by @charmastrology @oldschoolastrology and @thestrology - who is dropping the info on why Aries season is so stellar for solar folks or those in Leonian profection years. My heart and brain are always so activated when I can connect with other astrologers like this. Gosh, I wish I could do this every Friday too! The astrology world is so lucky to have Kirah - not only is she brilliant, talented and beautiful, but she has a super special gift for bringing astrologers together - Venus embodied! So if you are not already tuned in to The Strology Show - you can get the scoop on all podcast platforms or tune into the video version on youtube!
