Thank you, Good Day New York for giving the world a glimpse into the work we do, and Monroe University for trusting the magic we create through the Media and Entertainment program. @monroeuentertainmentmedia

I’m not a HIP-HOP professor; I’m a higher education professor committed to helping students flourish into their higher purpose through intrapersonal intelligence.

Throughout our journey filming this documentary, we’ve been blessed to sit down with truly unique individuals who have opened up and shared stories that have never been heard before.

Thank you, @jadakiss for sharing your personal perspective on one of the darkest times in American history, and for allowing us to understand how that chapter shaped the person you are today.
Thank you @kodaklens for always supporting the doc!

When our Queen MJB started her residency in Vegas, I had a goal in mind…

To see Rule and MJB perform “Rainy Days” together.

With the help of my good friend Mikey, who works with Mary, we jumped on the phone with MJB /team and made the magic happen.

What may have seemed like just another day at the office for Rule and Mary was something much bigger for me. It was a feeling of self-fulfillment to play a small role in creating a moment for our culture with two true icons.

Fun fact: Rule originally wrote “Rainy Days” for TLC. Mary heard the record and intercepted the hit!
