I’ve been meaning to post this for days — but sometimes the moments that matter most have a way of pulling you all the way in, and that’s exactly what happened this past weekend.

I had the incredible gift of being back in Texas to celebrate my Grandma Marie’s 98th birthday. 98 years of life, love, resilience, and quiet strength. She’s the heart of our family — the one who has held us together through every season with her steady spirit and unwavering grace.

Time has softened some parts of her story, but what remains is more powerful than ever: her light, her warmth, and the way her presence still brings peace just by being near.

I’m so thankful I got to be there — to sit beside her, hold her hand, and soak in a milestone that not everyone gets to witness. Happy (belated online, but right-on-time in real life) 98th, Grandma. You are deeply loved, always.
