Finished PT… but still don’t feel ready to compete? 👀

There’s a lot that happens between getting back to daily life and getting back to your sport.

Sprinting. Jumping. Stopping. Cutting. Reacting without second-guessing every move.

At Move2Perform, we help athletes bridge that gap with progressive strength work, power development, and sport-specific training—guided by objective testing along the way.

You deserve a plan that prepares you for what your sport demands. 💪

📩 DM “READY” to learn what your next step could look like.

A summer well spent. 💪

Proud of every college athlete who put in the work this offseason to get stronger, faster, and more prepared for their upcoming season.

The work doesn’t stop when summer ends — now it’s time to take it with you.

Good luck this season to all of you. Go be great. 🏆

Getting cleared isn’t the same as being prepared. 🏃‍♂️🦵

One of the biggest misconceptions after ACL surgery is that once physical therapy ends, you’re ready to return to your sport.

The reality? Many athletes still have important gaps to address before safely returning to competition.

Here are 3 things that are often underemphasized after ACL rehab:

📊 1. Objective Strength Testing
Don’t rely on how your knee feels. Measure your strength to ensure your quadriceps and hamstrings are ready for the demands of your sport.

⚡ 2. Reactive Performance Training
Sports are unpredictable. Your rehab should prepare you to react, change direction, and make decisions under pressure—not just perform planned movements.

🏅 3. Comprehensive Return-to-Sport Testing
Time since surgery isn’t enough. Your readiness should be based on strength, power, movement quality, agility, confidence, and sport-specific performance.

Your goal shouldn’t be to simply finish rehab.

Your goal should be to return stronger, more confident, and fully prepared for the demands of your sport.

If you’re an athlete who has been discharged from PT but still doesn’t feel 100%, let’s bridge that gap together.

📩 Send me a DM with “ACL” or schedule an evaluation to find out exactly what you need to return to sport with confidence.

Plyometrics after ACL surgery aren’t just about jumping higher.

They’re about progressively preparing the knee to handle the demands of sport.

One of the biggest mistakes athletes make is skipping steps and rushing into advanced jumping drills before they’ve built the strength and control to tolerate them.

A good plyometric progression should move from:

➡️ Isometric strength and force acceptance

➡️ Landing mechanics and positional control

➡️ Low-level bilateral jumping

➡️ Single-leg loading and landing

➡️ Reactive and multidirectional plyometrics

➡️ Sport-specific cutting, jumping, and change of direction

Before athletes can produce force, they need to be able to absorb it.

That’s why we focus on owning positions, controlling landings, and developing confidence before progressing intensity.

The goal isn’t just to return to sport.

It’s to return with the strength, control, and confidence needed to perform at a high level while reducing reinjury risk.
