I love what I do, and my aim is to make music ‘til I die. And even when I die, my music will remain in the hands of those that dig what I do. Thank you always for supporting me and my work.

Chase Michael is a New Hampshire-based producer and multi-instrumentalist working at the intersection of jazz, funk, house, and soul — an unlikely geography for this kind of music, perhaps, but the record makes clear that the influences run deep regardless of zip code. His sound sits in a lineage of producers who treat the dancefloor and the listening room as the same space, where harmony and groove are never in competition.

“Cosmic Energy” — released May 22, 2026, on the album Abstractions — is a melodic house track built around a Rhodes piano playing warm, open jazz voicings, the kind of chords that suggest space rather than fill it. A flute carries the melody above the groove, unhurried and almost conversational, giving the whole thing an airy, meditative quality that recalls the spiritual jazz-meets-club-music zone. The atmosphere is the point — this isn’t a track that chases urgency, but one that pulls you gently into its orbit and keeps you there. The title earns itself not through scale but through feel: something quietly expansive happening in a small and carefully tended space.
