@michaelcharlesroe and I hadn't seen each other since 2017 which was the last time @daisyheadtn played close to home. The new album is dare I say their best yet and I can't recommend them enough. Forever my favorite band. Hopefully we don't go 9 years without seeing each other again!

~It’s a long one, but it’s worth it~

I’m heartbroken to see the end of a project that I put so much of myself into, despite no longer being an active part of it.

Saturn 🪐 has been so many things to me, and I just want to list a few. Saturn was the place where I threw my first show in Austin (and many more followed); where I met @kindalikekylee, my Shayla and absolute best friend; where I met @chasehuglin, who gave me more laughter than I know what to do with; where @realbadlookin inspired me to jump off the deep end and take risks on myself; and where I got to reconnect with friends who knew me at my most vulnerable and took a chance on me. @mshogi stumbled back into my life and made my wild idea possible. And though she’s not pictured, it’s because of @saturnatx that I met the woman I’ve fallen in love with.

I’m so proud of all the amazing things I did here and everything I got to be a part of.

Saturn forever.

THREE CHEERS FOR THREE YEARS OF SATURN
check out what’s going on this week >>>>>

Tuesday we’re hosting Austin’s ONLY Adult Spelling Bee
It’s our thing you can’t have it no matter how many AI flyers you make. This one is gonna be insane. Come watch or come spell - either way it beats ordering DoorDash and watching YouTube!!

Someone you’re not really friends with has a homie that says we have the best wings in town. That guy is right, even though you don’t know him. But take it from me, another person you don’t know - they are the best. On Wednesday night at 7pm they’re a dollar a piece, that’s the best deal yr gonna get until the next World War! Love you.

Thursdays are Karaoke nights now. We have a stage, lots of mics, good sound, a projector setup and @peanutbutterthejellyfish hosting. It’s a party. Bring your one friend who isn’t ever embarrassed and let them talk you into singing too. It’s not that scary I promise.

Friday is a dance party with our dear friend and esteemed party thrower, Diego. Club Fuego always bangs. Drink specials. Etc.

Yea we still do live music too. Saturday we got a free show goin down. Come check out these bands and have some sips from the new menu.

SUNDAY IS OUR THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY
12pm til the cows come home, we miss our cows. Idk what that even means I just wanted to cosplay as a South Congress Cowboy Hat guy…SO! we’re going all day well into the night. Bands, djs, tattoos, $3 drinks, chaos. Three years of SATURN babes! That’s got a nice ring to it! Just like the planet Saturn, get it!? Oh man wow that was so funny I should go on Kill Tony that would be dope I bet I could get a high five or two from someone. Love you bye.

THE SATURN “ADULT” SPELLING BEE IS BACK
Hosted by the 1 and only @chelsanders0n
I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again now - this is the funniest and most entertaining event. I’m between dying laughing and shouting “nooooo!” basically the whole time. It’s free to participate in, you get shots for every word spelled correctly. And honestly, the competition gets a little intense - you DORKS. Read the flyer, start training your brain and/or liver and be prepared. See you next Tuesday. (I know)

maaaaaaan I couldn’t wait to post this one

Saturn turned 3 officially on 8/4
Insanity, really

This is just the teaser to let you know, more details for ya coming soon
We’re throwing our 3 year b-day on 8/30, all day party
Gonna have tunes from @diegothefuego @nokidsss and @raexclamationpoint

Tattoos by @survivewithgrace (we’re workin on some special flash right now)

You know I’m gonna do a very outrageous menu and a buncha stuff for $3 cause that’s just how it goes
Expect some surprise food situations to be happening as well

Also, a TON of you have Saturn tattoos
I would like all of you to send them to me plz, I wanna collect all that for a post for ya’ll
And if you DO have one - well guess what? We’re doing tats that day too and you get a free one. It’s called love, dum dums.

you really have to be completely out of your mind to run a small cocktail bar and do what we do - and thankfully we ARE out of our minds. We wouldn’t have been able to do this without the amazing people we have working with us, past and present. We’ve grown and changed every year and we are still PROUDLY the only place even a little bit like this. And you know what’s cooler? Ya’ll dig it. We have a mile long list of people who’ve been coming here since day one. We got fans, we got die hard cult membaz. We even have…friends 🥹

This party is for everyone who comes here instead of waiting in line for a seltzer.
Everyone who goes “what the hell was that movie on the projector.”
The people who remember the graffiti bathrooms.
It goes on and on.
Thank you for everything let’s keep it sexy and silly. Turns out you can do both if yr crazy enough.

See u soon

𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘢𝘺 is WEDNESDAY (tomorrow)
𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳 🥹
𝘋𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘵 7𝘱𝘮

Yea so we googled it and it turns out Wing Wednesday this week falls on National Chicken Wing day - how bout that?

This new wing flavor is a crazy, umami forward, sticky Asian style sauce we’re callin “Big Unc” sauce. It’s got some crispy garlic on it too. It’s all I been eating lately so lemme tell you it BANGS.

Wings are a buck a piece tomorrow nite starting at 7
don’t mess up
You know where to be
If yr good and you sit real pretty we might even let you try some of the new cocktails too

Deal?
