Vegas showed up for Hacks — and the crew made it shine. 🎬

Hacks came to Southern Nevada and our local teams delivered solid, professional work that keeps productions moving and coming back.

This is what a film-friendly community looks like in action.

Nevada crew: thank you for showing up, leveling up, and making it all look effortless. 👏

Anddddd PARKING LOT BREAKUP is BACK!

When I first wrote this short film, I had no idea the journey it would take me on - from leading an entire set, to collaborating with an incredible team of creatives, to being completely (and repeatedly) pushed outside my comfort zone… BOY oh BOY. Filmmaking is hard.

Thanks to so many of you, we were able to bring this story to life in production last November — and I truly cannot thank our original supporters enough. You got us to this point!

Now, we’re in post-production (!!!). Shelby and her editor are close to finishing a first cut, and we’re so excited about what this film is becoming. But to really shape it, and give it the cinematic finish it deserves, we need a final push.

We’re raising funds for editing, color, VFX, and sound - all the pieces that transform a film from good to festival-ready. Our goal is to carry this story beyond our little parking lot and into festivals across the country.

If we surpass 100% funding, our stretch goal is to host an LA screening for our cast, crew, and supporters - so you can see exactly what you helped create.

If you’re able to donate, it would mean the world. And if not, truly just following the campaign, sharing it, or cheering us on goes such a long way.

Thank you, always 🤍

New chapter 🎬🤍

For the past year I slowly made LA my home, and moving here full time has been one of the most challenging, personal, and rewarding journeys of my life thus far. I’m filled with so much gratitude in my heart.

I’m grateful for the discipline and the small but powerful support system, my family, friends, and colleagues, who believed in me. To my new friends and professional colleagues I’ve met in LA thus far, thank you for being such a great addition to my life and for your support. I appreciate you more than you know.

Moving doesn’t mean my life is perfect or easy. 2025 wasn’t always kind to me, it was a heavy year. But it was necessary, and I’m so beyond grateful for each step of my life that has led me here.

I’ve fallen in love with this city and with the version of myself I am here. I love building new routines, discovering new places, and choosing what aligns with me. My journey is mine, and I’m staying focused on my path.

Vegas will always be a version of home, but it was time to move on. My soul needed this change, and SoCal is where I’ve always felt most aligned 🤍

Wow! Hive Productions turned 10 this year! And what a wild ride it’s been. We’ve traveled near and far, through blizzards and heat waves, on planes, trains, golf carts, and pedicabs. Collaborated with friends old and new in studios and backlots, stadiums and skyscrapers, mountaintops and oceansides. And had a blast creating work that we’re super proud of.

Thanks to our clients, crew members, vendors, and families for your continued support, hard work, dedication, and humor.

We can’t wait to see all you busy bees in 2026!! Bzzzzzzz…
