“Isn’t it just splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive. It’s such an interesting world.” —Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables Who knew that 3 1/2 years ago when I set out on a personal journey to discover who I was as a woman waking up in a brand new chapter of my midlife, that something like this would come together. I put a call out with an invitation to join me on my journey in real time via Zoom and I lead a small group through a few different variations of creative soul-searching. What evolved was Create Space and those who gathered were a group of kindreds, piecing together a tapestry of support, love, and friendship with art as the gluestick (#iykyk). When this very special art family asked when we would all meet each other in person, a plan was set into motion. And just like that, we converged in my beloved SoCal at the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean— suitcases full of art supplies and hearts full of love. What a glorious celebration it was. ☀️🎨✂️💗 #artretreats #artlove #artsaves #moreart #sisterhood #celebratefriendship #creativityeveryday #southerncalifornia

1/14/2024 - Had the drone up this morning with @_mark_richardson by Tower 4 in HB. Mark was shooting behind me and tallied the 2 Pelicans. They were hugging the shorebreak heading towards the South side. I was able to get a good track on them down to Tower 9. 🚁 DJI Mini 4 Pro #hbviews #huntingtonbeachca #surfcityusa #orangecountyca #djimini4pro #dji #polarpro #drones #dronephotography #dronevideo #abc7community #hbcommunity #surfingpelicans
