Hard to believe but we are turning 25! This calls for many celebrations. On September 27 we’re kicking it off with a party. Frank Ostini of @hitchingpost2 fame will be working his grill master magic for sliders cooked over a live oak fire. We’ll be serving hor d’oeuvres, cocktails and of course award winning Hitching Post wine. SAVE THE DATE! Open seating starts at 4:30 ‘til 8:30pm. My longtime client Andy, a lovely female bulldog is in need of a new home or foster.
I trained her when she was a puppy and she stayed with me when her family traveled so I know her very well. She’s an amazing addition 🩵

She is 6 years old and very well behaved. She’s lived with me for several months and loves all dogs people & children.
She’s walks well on leash, is potty trained and enjoyscar rides rides, walks, visits to the dog park, cuddles naps & brunch.

Update from her current foster:
“Her behavior has been really good. She loves to sleep and get pets. She’s potty trained, easy to walk, and mostly naps. She gets along with our dog, it’s just hard for us because he takes up most of our time. He was diagnosed with IVDD and is paralyzed. He’s unable to walk and needs constant diaper changes”

Yesterday’s @PottersForPets fundraiser was a huge success! Our ceramic community came out strong and the tally is at abut 2k for @WagsandWalks rescue so they can keep helping our furry friends! Than you ALL for making it such a great day 💗💗💓

Urgent: Chadwick needs out 🚨

Meet 3 y/o Chadwick 🐶 He’s been at the West LA Shelter for 6 months… and it’s starting to take a real toll.

Chadwick is a sweet, affectionate, playful boy, but the constant stress, noise, and lack of outlet are wearing him down. We’re watching his mental health decline, and we’re worried.

When you first take him out, he can be a bit mouthy from overstimulation - and honestly, it makes sense. Dogs like Chadwick spend nearly all day in a kennel, often getting just 15 minutes outside a day if they’re lucky

But give him a little time & structure — a walk, some play, a few treats, and calm connection — and you see the real him:

✨ Loves fetch
✨ Extremely food motivated & trainable
✨ Affectionate and eager to connect
✨ Great on walks — unbothered by traffic, bikes, crowds

This isn’t a “bad dog.”
This is a stressed dog who hasn’t been given a fair chance.

Right now, Chadwick is:
⚠️ L4 (limited volunteer handling → gets out even less)
⚠️ Y1 (urgent — at risk, time is running out)

The longer he stays, the harder it becomes for him. And the reality is… he may not have much time left.

He doesn’t need perfection. He needs a better environment and outlet to thrive.
