So proud to share that my daughter’s wedding has been featured in the current issue Cape Cod Life magazine! Ah, seeing those beautiful moments captured & celebrated in print feels surreal. ‌ From the beginning, we knew we wanted this day to be something truly special—not just for the bride and groom, but for everyone who joined us. It was a celebration of love, family, and friendship, & I’m so grateful for the incredible group of people, who came together to make it all happen. Every detail, from the hours of planning, to the colorful floral arrangements, to the amazing grounds, and perfectly set tables, was crafted with such care and intention. ‌ What made the day even more meaningful was that so many of our people contributed their talents! All of them family, plus colleagues, that have turned into dear friends over the years; including the photographer, who managed to capture every candid laugh & happy tear. Even the cake was baked with love ❤️ ‌ The conditions couldn’t have been more perfect for the bride, who LOVES weather! A ceremony with sunny skies, then a downpour, a lightning storm & even a rainbow! As it cleared, and the sun set, the sky turned, & underneath the cover of a gorgeous sailcloth tent, I remember looking around, seeing so many smiling faces. ‌ Having these moments recognized is a great privilege, & a beautiful reminder of how much love and effort went into making that day, and this couple, unforgettable. We’ll cherish these memories for the rest of our lives, and I’m just so grateful for everyone who helped bring this vision to life. ✨Crystal, candlelight, and layers of warm light. Chandeliers and crystal globes brought sparkle overhead, while soft amber lighting warmed the tent and highlighted the dance floor. Outside, bistro lights and lantern-lined pathways carried the glow beyond the tent. Each layer added warmth and elegance to this elegant fall wedding celebration. #WeddingLighting #LightingDesign #WeddingTentLighting #WeddingDetails #FallWedding Lighting// @designlightco Coordinator// @capecodcelebrations @kmann4 Venue// Private Home Band// @silverarrowband Ceremony Musicians //@sketchypecce Caterer// @casualgourmetcapecod Tent// @sperrytents Ceremony Location// Saint Joan of Arc Officiant// Saint Joan of Arc Florist// @fancyflowerscapecod Photographer// @merrisacarolinephotography Videographer// @merrisacarolinephotography Cake// @Casualgourmetcapecod Hair// @salon700weddings Makeup// @salon700weddings Rentals// @peakeventservices Invitations// @rsvphingham   Art for invitations and signage @bridgetturner7 Day of Paper// @rsvphingham Transportation// @chathamvalet @capedestinations

Really great weddings feel unmistakably like the people getting married. Stacy & Peter said their vow under their chuppah overlooking the water at Popponesset Inn, surrounded by family and Jewish traditions that gave the ceremony so much meaning. Their soundtrack told you pretty quickly this wasn’t going to be a wedding that followed anyone else’s script: Yellow by Coldplay, Enya’s Only Time, Oceans, and finally Sweet Child O’ Mine as they came back down the aisle, married! From there, the entire evening felt romantic, joyful and incredibly personal. Stacy changed into a short dress for their first dance, which started with Alex Warren and turned into Queen, setting the tone for a night that never took itself too seriously. There were heartfelt speeches, a private cake cutting away from the crowd, family dances, the hora, and one of those packed dance floors where you realize everyone in the room is exactly where they want to be. Elegant, meaningful, a little unexpected and so much fun. Stacy + Peter, I loved celebrating this one with you. There are Wychmere weddings… and then there are full-property-takeover, shut-down-the-parking-lot, surprise-pop-star Wychmere weddings. Julia + Cole’s wedding is featured in this month’s issue of @capecodlife, so obviously we had to relive this one! Every part of the day had another surprise waiting. Including a New Orleans-style horn line taking over the parking lot and leading guests from the Hydrangea Lawn to Dune for the reception. But the biggest surprise wasn’t for the guests. It was for Julia + Cole! Somehow, we kept one VERY big secret from them: @jordinsparks was waiting in the wings for a surprise live performance. Yes. THAT Jordin Sparks. American Idol. “No Air.” “Tattoo.” Millennials, you get it. Watching Julia + Cole realize what was happening, followed by an entire ballroom collectively losing its mind, is a moment I’ll never forget. And yes, you can ask me how I kept that one a secret. 😉 THE TEAM @wychmerebeachclub @jessicahennesseyweddings @kellycroninphoto @leslieleefloraldesign @wilsonstevensbands @jordinsparks @peakeventservices @maxandmaidenink @bostonbackdrops @MVPBestDay @capedestinations @chathamvalet @amandamccarthybeauty @capecodlife
