@chatt_alphas psi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc celebrated 100 years of service to the Chattanooga community by having a centennial gala on May 15th and was held at the @Chattanooga Whiskey Event Hall. This magnificent milestone was an effort cultivated by leadership, education, and service. The event was a success with support from all over the southeast and district leadership from Association of TN Alphamen. We were hired to provide Photo Booth services for the event to give the guests a digital take home souvenir. The booth was a hit. See a few images below. #photobooth #photoboothfun #12remlap

The Association of Tennessee Alphamen (ATA) proudly celebrates and extends our highest congratulations to Brother Andre R. Williams on his installation as the 16th Tennessee District Director of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. This moment marks not only a personal achievement, but a powerful call to leadership, service, and vision across our great district.

Brother Williams steps into this role with a spirit of excellence, a commitment to uplifting our Brotherhood, and a passion for advancing the mission of Alpha. We are confident that his leadership will inspire continued progress, strengthen unity, and elevate the work being done throughout Tennessee.

As he embarks on this distinguished journey, we stand firmly in support—ready to follow, to serve, and to build alongside him. May his tenure be marked by wisdom in leadership, humility in service, and purpose in every endeavor.

Indeed, there goes an Alpha Man—leading the way forward.

During Black History Month, we focused on service, education, and community engagement. We connected with 4th and 5th grade boys at East Lake Elementary and returned to support their Black History Program after being invited back, while also tabling at East Ridge Elementary to share information about Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Eta Phi Chapter. In partnership with the Zeta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, we hosted our PHirst Class Finance event featuring Brother Anthony Young of the Psi Lambda Alumni Chapter, centered on financial discipline and generational wealth. We also joined the Zeta Iota Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, for Karaoke & Kicks, a fun event filled with laughs and friendly competition. Our efforts extended to planting trees across Chattanooga, and distributing yellow roses on campus in appreciation of women’s leadership, then participating in programs at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center and Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy. Finally, we were humbly honored to receive the Best Fraternity award at the BSA BLOC Awards for the 10th consecutive year.

The Brothers of ATA extend our deepest condolences on the passing of our esteemed Brother, Dr. Clarence Christian.

For 60 years, he walked with purpose in the Light of Alpha. Though he now has taken his sweet rest in the Omega Chapter, his legacy lives on.

As Brothers of ATA, we lift our voices to honor our Fraternity Brother, whose light still guides our steps. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. walked this earth with the courage that stirred mountains and a love that reshaped our nation. His call for justice echoes through our chapters, our cities, our service. His legacy reminds us that the charge of Alphamen is not ceremonial—It is a living mandate to rise, to lead, and to labor for a better tomorrow.
