visited this place ONLY for this meal. this atas chicken rice is why i came here and nothing else bro. omg it was so fancy it looked so yumyumyum. i was VERY excited to devour okay enough yap sry. their broth-cooked jasmine rice was fragrant and each grain of rice was soft and it wasnt like sticky or mushy, the texture was splendid ! and ofc the star of the dish was the mandrin chicken ☺️😍 i think given that the portion generous it would justify the price (just a lil bit cuz this is fr the most ex chicken rice in sg some ppl will think its siao (crazy) to even wna step foot in this restaurant). the quality def was up there too, the chicken was so smooth and juicy. the meat was like plump and soaked up the flavourful sauce so well 😋 each piece was just as good as the prev piece as i slowly devoured this, and it didn’t get old. there was absolutely no jelak feel and i felt that the flavours were refreshing and light. and even better, the dish also came with a trio of homemade signature chilli sauce, ginger puree, and dark soya sauce. so like a fun diy to ur liking depending on how you like to eat your chicken. my personal fav would be the dark soya sauce cuz i’ve eaten that w chicken rice since i was a kid :)) one more thing is the soup!! it was warm and tasted v original, a comforting bowl of soup which was a palette cleanser and within it was also some veg and silky tofu :> i took my own sweet time to enjoy every component of this meal and it was so worth it to visit at least once because the service was excellent too!!

overall: 10/10

We visited the legendary Chatterbox, a culinary icon that has captivated everyone from Jackie Chan to top VIPs since 1971.
Here is what we ordered:
✨ The iconic Mandarin Chicken Rice (the meat is unbelievably juicy!)
🦞 A rich and comforting Boston Lobster Laksa
🍢 Smoky binchōtan-grilled Satay
🍲 The most peppery, delicious Bak Kut Teh
The staff was incredibly friendly and nice, taking the time to explain every single dish to us. Thank you for having us for such an amazing experience! I cannot wait to come back. This is an absolute must-try if you come to Singapore. Save this post for your next trip! 📌✈️

Mid-autumn marks a slower pace as we ease into the rest of the year. This piece was commissioned in mid 2025 and the experience and process of making it was a memorable one which i still carry to this very day. The trust and support from the interior design team, the quiet moments of reflection while creating it onsite alongside my mentor @seanpdunston

The work serves as a constant reminder why studio & rest time with family and friends are essential 🌝

Before there’s a dish, there’s a chef. 👨‍🍳

We asked Executive Chef Liew a few questions—and not all of them were about food. 👀

Get to know the person behind the flavors, stories, and dishes of Chatterbox. 💚
