My experience with L’Ingénieur Chevallie was extraordinary. Recently acquired by @maisonbonnet , the brand that crafted iconic eyewear for legends like Yves Saint Laurent and Audrey Hepburn, L’Ingénieur Chevallie, as the oldest optician (they served Napoleon!) and inventor of opera glasses, continues to redefine eyewear luxury. Collaborating with them during @parisfashionweek was an honor. Unlike the months-long wait for bespoke eyewear at Maison Bonnet, L’Ingénieur Chevallie offers a “ready to fit” service. In just hours, I walked out with sunglasses perfectly molded to my face. The feeling was beyond satisfying. We would never settle for ill-fitting clothes, so why do we with our glasses? This experience changed my perspective on how integral eyewear is to quality of life and luxury style and an education of how eyewear shoud fit in the first place.
