Ritual of Flavors 🍅🌽🐟

Thursday night, 70 of us gathered at a few long tables right on @partyatkillertomato farm, with Mount Hood glowing behind us. Table to farm, not the other way around: we brought the table to where the food grows. @chaz.pro opened the evening with sound, and then we ate, together.

I'm still full of gratitude. Thank you to everyone who came, and to the crew who made it all flow: @sheenamedicina, @jengens, @crystle_williams , @skijahindigo Tara, Gigi, Cameron and Jack. Thank you to @killertomatoguy for hosting us, to @bran_and_ash for the bread, and to Jason for the fresh-pressed cider.

These are just a few of the photos. There are plenty more on the way: the dishes, the kitchen and the sound. Stay tuned 📸

#PersonalShare ✨ It’s been quite a summer! ☀️

As the Autumn equinox approaches, it feels like a good time to celebrate the highlights of the summer while releasing stress and returning to a more grounded state of being. 🌱

I’m super grateful that this summer I was able to go on two different east coast trips, see both of my parents, perform with dear friends early in the summer, share Oregon Country Fair and some fun bike rides plus a jazz festival with my love, fun times with my sister, sweet times with Alder who is now 19 🤯 a musical weekend retreat with my best friend, and to top it all off, an incredible trip to Orcas island. ✨

The highlight of my most recent east coast trip, besides spending quality time with my mom and brother, was introducing Alder to their great uncle for the first time, sharing music with him, and celebrating the life of my aunt Linda Jones - an inspiring painter, lover of animals, activist, and so much more. 💜

The last three pics are from this past week, sharing the tradition of apples and honey with Alder (For a sweet new year - Shana Tova!), 🍯 a fun grounding ritual in community, and a walk and talk with a dear friend. 🥰

Life is so rich and full, and though I’m sharing the highs, that doesn’t mean there’s not also lows. If you’re in the Portland area with me, let’s gather together at @lajja_space to support each other through all of the ups and downs of life! Community is where it’s at, friends! 🩵 Thanks for being on this journey with me!

@bhagavati.ma has been practicing and teaching yoga globally since 1997. She trained with the Living Yoga program, completed a 200-hour registered yoga training and has pilgrimaged to India multiple times. Bhagavati is also certified in kids’ yoga and co-created a meditation series for adolescents. Bhagavati works as the School Health Community Strategist for the Oregon Department of Education, advancing health in education initiatives. She combines her passion for yoga and well-being by offering free yoga to state employees. She’s a disciple of Amma, devoted to human potential, and serves the Divine Mother.
Bhagavati has been offering yoga at our Theta Portal events since 2019 and we are so incredibly lucky to have her support!
Yoga starts at 10:00am, prior to the Theta Portal ceremony this coming Saturday & Sunday, and is truly a wonderful way to get the body ready for the journey. See you soon!

I'm usually the one behind the camera — capturing everyone else's journey, rarely showing up in my own story.

This weekend is my last Theta Portal as facilitator and event producer. So before we close this chapter, I wanted to share a few glimpses of the last eight years from my side of the lens too.

It feels a little strange putting myself in the frame like this. But this whole journey has been about learning to be seen as much as it's been about helping others find their own way through.

Thank you for eight years of letting me hold this space for you. It's been the honor of my life.

Deep breaths 🌀💚🌀

Love,
Adina

This weekend, we gather.

Sunday's journey welcomes some very special guests. Ken and Patti Downing, devoted sound practitioners and cherished members of this community for the past seven years, bring their exquisite collection of Tibetan singing bowls and gong to guide us into the deeper realms.

@alexa.lux leads community songs around the fire Saturday night and returns Sunday to weave her voice through the closing ceremony.

Come for a day, or stay the whole weekend and camp under the stars. If cost is what's holding you back, please reach out — we have spots set aside to make sure a couple more people who couldn't otherwise be here, can be.

Whether this is your first time hearing about the Theta Portal experience or you've walked through before, we'd love to share this one with you.

Link in bio to register.

There is a place breath and sound together can take you — somewhere words can't quite reach. Theta Portal is a weekend gathering built around that place — conscious connected breathwork moving through a live sound immersion, one experience unfolding in real time, held on the beautiful grounds of Spirit Wind Ridge.

This September 18-20 is Adina's last Theta Portal as facilitator and event producer, closing a chapter eight years and dozens of journeys in the making.

Come for a day, or stay the whole weekend and camp under the stars. Mornings open with optional meditation and yoga, evenings close around the fire in community song. Saturday's journey moves with more energy and activation. Sunday settles into something gentler and more restorative, joined by several guest musicians. Both days are held by a community that has become far more than the people who show up.

Whether this is your first time hearing about the Theta Portal experience or you've walked through before, we'd love to share this very special one with you.

🥹 this song I made ! I’m very proud of it 😭 I did a 21 day singing challenge with @sharethelight333. I wanted to connect back to my inner child the one that loved to sing everywhere 🥹💖 just goes to show you the magic that happens when you show up to your practice consistently in any creative endeavor.
That’s what the 21 day out your mind and into your body ritual is about. Connecting with yourself and your practice so you can create more easily . To create without the fear of rejection. To look silly to make mistakes . To know that’s all part of the process and it’s beautiful. To be seen in the most beautiful full authentic expression that you are. To take up space ! To quite the voice inside your head that says I’m not safe to be myself. Because you are safe and you are whole and you are exactly who you need to be . Flaws and all. Mistakes and all. If you’re feeling called to step into this new version of yourself comment “ritual” or send me a message and I’ll send you more details.
Thank you @chaz.pro for recording! The full version of this sound bath is available inside the ritual 💖
