ARTSWRKER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ Chaz Ryan @chazryanchaz is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator originally from Nashville, Tennessee now residing in Brooklyn, NY. His dance background is a reflection of the commercial and concert world having danced in Nashville based dance company, Found Movement Group @foundmovementgroup, for five years and performed on big stages like the 2021 Super Bowl Halftime Show with @theweeknd. Now, he is currently working and performing with Camille A. Brown & Dancers @camilleabrown as a part of the cast for their most recent show “I Am” while building his own brand as a choreographer and creative in New York City. As a choreographer and dance educator, they work with a focus in Street Jazz and Hip Hop fusing movements from different genres to create a style of movement that is athletic, dynamically expressive, and performative in its essence. In class, Chaz emphasizes body alignment, usage of space, and some acting principles to maximize each moment in the given choreography. In addition, classes are always led with positive energy and a good time. ✨ Here’s why Chaz is excited about a platform that innovates work for artists: “I’m always bragging about Artswrk. Through this company, I’ve been able to find work that has lasted me years and continue to find more work. Innovating work for dancers is so important because there’s often times so much work out here for us, but sometimes we don’t know how to get to it. It seems out of reach. Knowing that there’s something like this where I can receive daily updates about teaching positions and competition work provides a sort of mental security that is necessary when you’re hustling day to day in this big city. I think the way Artswrk provides accessibility to work is so needed because often times artists are struggling because they don’t know where to start. I’m excited to see the ways in which Artswrk continues to provide work for artists like myself.” Join or hire Chaz on Artswrk! #Artswrker #Artist #Dancer #Choreographer #DanceEducator

This trip really had my whole heart 🌱💓 Straight out of school, three months of learning, loving, dancing, and partying — thank you everyone for everything you gave me. I won’t be back this summer to train and expand my dance, but this experience and its people shaped me deeply. Missing the people & the hiphop community <33 See you in 2027 or around the world. Forever grateful for the time I spent here
