The @wakemgolf team at F/32 📸
Wanted to grab as much detail of the skyline as I could while capturing the action.

(Plus a few more wides from the week not shot at F/32 🤣)

Shoutout @chicagohighlands for providing awesome views and landscapes. Always a treat getting to work there ⛳️👏

You left us too soon my friend

I still remember the text from Brian back in 2016:

“John Baxter loved your images of Stonewall. Can you go out to Chicago Highlands tomorrow and take pictures for him?”

I came out the very next day and was welcomed by a stunning sunset. Bax saw the images and said,
“come out here anytime you want, eat whatever you want, and bring that camera.”

And I did just that. For the next two weeks, I was out there daily, chasing light with my cameras and drones, capturing the place he poured his heart into.

I’d leave to go photograph in Iceland, or in Italy, and I’d get texts about the exact aircraft I was in and where it had been previously. I started sharing my location with him and flight details so he could watch it on flightradar24. He got me hooked onto it 😂

I’ll miss those nerdy text messages, and the random pictures of whales in Cabo.

Thank you for the memories John, and thank you for loving my art.

I will continue to photograph the gem of a club you created and maybe one day I’ll even get the elusive shot we’ve always been after.

That lone rocker overlooking the skyline has new meaning for me now.

Rest in peace Bax, you are already missed

Ryan vs. Cog Hill - Dubsdread - Hole 6 Par 3 173 yards

Despite having 3 highly successful courses, owner Joe Jemsek, known as the "Patriarch of Public Golf," partnered with famed golf course architect Dick Wilson (Bay Hill, Cog Hill No.3, Doral-Blue Course, Laurel Valley) to create a 4th course that would rival the country club experience and amenities to all golfers. The end result, opening in 1964, was No. 4 or “DUBSDREAD” as commonly referred to, was derived from the idea that a "dub" or poor golfer should beware and serve as a warning of the challenges forthcoming. True to its name, this natural-style championship course places a high demand on shot-making ability by providing tight landing areas combined with heavily bunkered, large undulating greens. Over the years, DUBSDREAD has challenged professionals and amateurs alike while hosting numerous PGA Tour and USGA tournaments. DUBS IS currently ranked the #65 public course in America.

The 6th hole at DUBSDREAD is a slightly downhill par that can stretch out all the way to 240 from the back tee! This large, diamond shaped green is surrounded by 3 of the gnarliest and deepest bunkers on property, precision to hit the green is at a premium. Once on the green, you have the large undulations and sudden movements that make putting a difficult task. There is not a breathable moment on this! Let’s see how Ryan will do in this week's episode of Ryan vs Cog Hill - DUBSDREAD!

Big time shout out to Dr. Mike @Sportsolutionspt

Thanks for all the help!
