There are places that mark you forever… and this is one of them.

I had the honor of creating and painting this mural at the entrance of the Coliseo Roberto Clemente — a space alive with memory, history, and spirit. The design is my own, born from the echoes of a childhood shaped by Carolina, though my roots begin in San Juan. Clemente wasn’t just a legend I heard about — he was a quiet force that shaped the way I saw pride, purpose, and presence.

I poured myself into the details: the glove, the large portrait, the crab — each element carrying a part of me. In those layers of paint live conversations with my younger self, the girl who never imagined she’d one day create something like this.

When I joined the collective almost five years ago, I didn’t even know how to hold a spray can. But through the hands, hearts, and guidance of my mentors and teammates, I found my voice — not only as a painter, but as a storyteller.

This mural is more than a tribute to Clemente. It’s a thank you to Carolina, a love letter to the process, and a reminder that transformation begins when we dare to try.

With all my heart, thank you — to @sjartepublico that has become my second home, and to my colleagues @__louisperez @entrelosrizos @m1ke_r0ss who brought their own light and energy to this wall. Your presence lives here too.

Swipe till the end to see my first spray paint attempt — the very beginning of it all.
