None of this happens without her incredible coaches, who continue to guide and believe in her, and the training partners who push her, challenge her, and help her grow every day. We’re so grateful for every person who has poured into her.

Loyalty doesn’t mean agreeing with everything.
Loyalty means never forgetting who was there for you when you needed them.
I spent 20 years with Integração JJ. It was a huge part of my life and my story.
When I moved to California in 2014, CheckMat and Professor Leo Vieira welcomed me. Over time, CheckMat became more than just a team. It became my family.
And that’s how family works.
Anyone who comes from a big family knows that you’re not close to everyone. Sometimes you don’t get along with someone. Sometimes you have different opinions, different perspectives, and there are even moments when you disagree with someone’s decisions.
But that doesn’t erase the bond.
I’m not with CheckMat because it’s convenient, because of business, seminars, or because everything is always easy.
I’m here because I will never forget who welcomed me and opened the doors for me when I arrived in California.
CheckMat will probably be my family for the rest of my life.
Even when we disagree.
Even when we have differences.
Even when I don’t get along with every “family member.”
Because to me, that’s what loyalty is: staying true to your history, to the people who believed in you, and to the values we built together.
Professor Leo Vieira, thank you for welcoming me, believing in me, and becoming such an important part of my journey.
