Today marks 5 years since moving to LA, a wild and incredible chapter in my life - incredibly thankful for everything that came from being there. Wanted to create something to help remember what that time of life felt like.

Goodbye Chee House. 🤠
Thank you for all the memories, thank you for being a place where community gathered, and thank you for giving me best friends for life :)

It’s been a week since we all officially moved the last piece of furniture out and said goodbye to the Marina. This place has caused so much growth for me over the last 4 years. Living with these guys has turned out to be one of the greatest blessings of my life.
To some, we were the infamous 3 bedroom apt in Marina del Rey shared by 8 guys. To so many more, Chee House was a place where they could feel welcomed, loved, encouraged, and championed. For whatever reason, God brought all of us together during a time when we needed each other the most, and as a result, used our house to help spark much needed community on the west side of Los Angeles. I’m glad He did.
I didn’t realized truly how big of an impact Chee House had on people until this year, after having so many conversations with everyone about our plan to move. I just want to say one thing to everyone, “Chee House isn’t a place, it’s a representation of God’s love and genuine care in this world through 11 (total) dudes that chose to say yes to the calling God had for us here in LA. If you were impacted at all by our home, I just ask one thing. Don’t let it stop with you. Pass it on, build more community, host a social event, be a leader for those around you that need one, and above all else, lead with genuine love and care. ❤️🫶🏼

4 years ago I found out these 8 guys live together in a very small apartment in LA

I spent countless hours (maybe more than they would have liked) making memories with what would become my best friends

Before moving to LA I asked God so specifically for genuine lifelong friends. He over delivered. I love you all and words will never describe the blessing you all have been to me

Seasons come and seasons go and as bittersweet as this moment is I am excited because I believe this is truly just the beginning
