I think it’s about time that we finally made an Instagram for One More Hug 🫂

To give you a little background about us;

We are The Bonfanti Family and on November 26, 2023, our 17 yr old son/brother Daniel Watkins died by suicide.

One More Hug Non Profit was started shortly after Daniel’s death with what initially was a one time memorial show near his birthday in April 2024 with all funds raised being donated to a scholarship in his memory to Lacey Township High School Seniors.

We decided to continue on with that memorial show every year now, which not only includes local bands but other well known musicians from all over the country, but also local and national mental health prevention and awareness vendors, other local vendors, food trucks and lots of love, positivity, and of course all the hugs you can get 🥹

To date, we have raised over $28,000 for graduating seniors for college.

The name One More Hug came about because sometimes when we experience grief, there are things that we wish for; one more text, one more phone call, one more family dinner, one more moment, one more chance to say I love you… All Daniel’s mom wanted was one more hug… 💚

This page will be used for promoting the yearly Daniel Watkins Memorial Show in April plus other local/national events promoting mental health and suicide prevention and awareness and anything else inbetween.

So from our family to yours, welcome to our page, and if at anytime you need to talk, we are here.

CHEEKS YOU GUYS WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! 3 words to describe that show would be “sweaty and amazing!” We absolutely love every opportunity we got to play here and one of our favorite things that you can’t find at many venues that you can at cheeks is family. We are always welcomed so warmly and the crowd feels like home and it always makes for an energetic show!
