So he turned around for the first look before she could tap him on the shoulder...he was toooo excited to see his bride! But can you blame him?!

First looks are one of my favorite parts of a wedding day, and this one was no exception. Such a perfect moment in front of the Brooklyn Bridge, watched lovingly by their kids 💕

I can totally understand wanting to wait to see each other until you walk down the aisle. But DID YOU KNOW that first looks free you up on your wedding day so you can enjoy your more of your party? When you choose to see each other before your ceremony, you can knock out all your portraits, family photos, wedding party photos, etc. before your ceremony so you don't have to miss most of your cocktail hour. Just some food for thought. I'll always help you pick the best photo opportunities that are right for YOU.

Throwback Thursday because we’re still not over our Open House. 🤍

We had to share a few more moments from such a special night filled with familiar faces, new connections, and the community that makes Fandi what it is.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us and made it so memorable. We’re already looking forward to the next one. ✨

When a nor’easter crashes your wedding, you have no choice but to pivot!

D + R got married on Saturday, so their park ceremony became a ring exchange at their reception. Luckily their joy was so infectious, the storm couldn’t dampen anyone’s mood! The vibe was classic New York Italian restaurant, from the iconic red checkered tablecloths to the chicken parm.

This song was originally supposed to be their recessional, and I found it very fitting considering the circumstances 😂

Fandi Mata Open House 2026. 🤍

Our space was full of familiar faces, new connections, and so many people who make New York’s event community what it is.

Thank you to everyone who joined us - from event planners and photographers to florists, creatives, past couples, friends, and partners. It meant so much to welcome you into Fandi Mata and share this evening together.

A special thank you to our Ivana, who coordinated and hosted the night, Chef Chris, our partners, and our entire Fandi Mata team who worked behind the scenes to make it all happen.

And a special thank you to Cheersy for helping us bring the evening to life!

Fandi Mata means to connect - and nights like this are exactly what that means to us.

Bringing people together, creating new connections, and filling this space with the community around us.

Our hearts are full. Thank you for being part of our Open House.

More to come!

A little taste of what makes Fandi Mata special.

Incredible food, live entertainment, and a room full of great people. Loved hearing from couples who celebrated their weddings here, connecting with fellow vendors, and getting to know the space.

Big thanks to @Cheersy and @FandiMata for having us! Looking forward to celebrating Alyssa & Greg here in November.
