Sometimes you go in a deep dive in your archives and fall on things that serve as an inspiration to you. This is 2018. A collective of artists came together and created something beautiful without even really knowing what the future of our island held after being struck by the most devastating huricane we had seen to date. This song particularly touches a nerve...it came at a time when i let encounters of life almost convince me that my place was not onstage, that i didn't have "a voice", that i needed to melt into the shadows. When you see me, with my hand on my heart, that's me telling myself "Micky this is what you were born to do!". So much have changed since then, some relationships have fizzled away, some have grown stronger than they were but I am thankful for it all!
