Another AWESOME day of fundraising, this time with divine desserts by our very own multi-talented, in-house pastry chef, @chef.danifern!!!!

Chef Dani cultivated a dessert menu specific to the tastes of our community, and boy were they ever good!!! Lemon bars, chocolate shortbread, chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter cookie, carrot cake and earl grey loaf all up for grabs at very reasonable prices, with 100% of the proceeds going to @kaylaschildrencentre!

Not to be outdone, but a special surprise when our very own @magda.dimaria contributed a very highly sought after pistachio cake! Thank you so much for doing that, Magda! Those were the first to go!

By 2:00PM we were SOLD OUT of everything! Well done and thank you to the CMs, Team Members, families, caregivers, Delivery Guys (yes, we got 3 of them 😂) and everyone else who flocked to the table with their sweet teeth and gave back. We hope you all enjoyed your yummy treats!

Tomorrow- our Art & Craft Auction! CM and TMs works of art will be on display for bid! Come by between 10:00AM and 3:00PM!

Day 1 at the #RCShow and the Afterparty! I was so happy to see some friends drop in. I met @chef.danifern last year, and she came by to add to her MEIKO duck collection. My fabulous friend, Dwania @dmpeele was hosting a series of talks in Studio EX. Check out her gorgeous outfit! So glad I chose to attend the final one because (surprise!) my friend Amanda Hamer @ediblebliss11 was on the panel! Such informative sessions. We headed over to the party where I ran into foodblogger Mary Tang @maryshappybelly. Did you catch her on The Social a few weeks ago? We grooved to the lively music of steel drums and sampled (more) food. Jan and I had to refrain from all the food as we were heading over to the Real Sports Bar to meet the team for dinner. AND it was historic for another reason ... the solar eclipse! So much fun, and it was only day 1.
