It’s not even noon yet, but I’m currently craving a fish platter from the lovely @mrs.bscatering_ The fish was crispy, well seasoned and paired perfectly with the mac & cheese. It goes without saying that some of the BEST food in #philadelphia can be found at your local #phillyblackownedbusiness ; make sure to support extra hard this month. Here are some of my FAVORITE bites from Black Owned Businesses in Philly: 1. @philacheesecake - Red Velvet Cheesecake was the BEST cheesecake I’ve put my lips on in YEARS! Follow her because she is mobile! 2. @primefusionlounge_ - Rasta Pasta w/ #oxtails & it’s the most complex rendition I’ve had to date!! It’s been so long since I got some Rasta 🍝 that was actually spiced correctly, & the oxtails took it to 1000. 3. @cluckandgills - 🦀 cheese 🍟 that make you wanna slap the chef!! There’s actual lump crabmeat in the fries and the cheese w/ the Cajun seasoning takes it to another level! 4. @chef__callme @prestigedowntownphl - the 🍗 & 🧇 was BANGING & the bottomless deal is one of the best in the city! 5. @nyce_meals - may be the BEST salmon Rasta pasta I’ve EVER had! All his food is 10 out of 10. 6. @tastecheesesteakbar - so, all of their #phillycheesesteak ‘s are 🔥 but the #salmoncheesesteak is 100 out of 10! That glaze on top sends it to the 🌙 7. @pleasureplatters - the “Long Day” from here will have you down for a day!! It’s a mix of dungenees 🦀, 🍤, mussels, 🥔, 🌽, and 🥦. This can feed a family of 4!! 8. @cinyaessoulfood - fried 🐟 is some of the BEST fried fish in #southphilly and that’s no 🧢 9. @dorobet_wphilly - has the BEST #glutenfree fried 🍗 in the city!! The perfect amount of crunch & flavors without the flour! 10. @nafeesauniquebites - the #salmoneggrolls are one of her signature dishes & they are GOOD AF💯🔥 11. @cloudcupsgelato - the 🍨 & gelato flights are the PERFECT cool down you need to end a hot #summerinphilly.
