At this point, what does it even mean to be a Nigerian citizen? 💔

A man who worked hard, a woman nursing her baby, and a 7 month old child who knows nothing about the cruelty of this world have been thrown into a nightmare no family should ever experience. N300 million ransom. Let that sink in🥺💔💔

Where is an ordinary family supposed to find such an amount? How can people be expected to live, work, raise their children, and build a future when their own safety is no longer guaranteed?

The most painful part is that this is not just a story. These are real human beings with families, dreams, and a future they deserve to live.
I’m tired of hearing heartbreaking stories from a country that is supposed to be our home. Tired of the fear, the kidnappings, the bloodshed, and the feeling that ordinary citizens are left to tend for themselves.

A country where people are afraid in their own homes has a serious problem. We cannot continue to normalise this suffering. Human lives are not commodities, and the safety of citizens should never be a privilege.

May Allah intervene where human efforts have failed. May He protect Ahmad, Nafisa, and their innocent baby, and every other person being held in captivity. May He grant all of them freedom, reunite them with their families, and bring them home safely. May He comfort every family waiting and praying for the return of their loved ones. Ameen🤲

Nigeria, our hearts are tired. Our people deserve peace. Our people deserve protection. Our people deserve to live ?
