Though this post is coming a little(a year) late, the feelings and memories are just as strong. Now, officially posting this, I officially close one of the most unforgettable chapters of my life, my college journey. It wasn’t just about the lectures or exams, but the friendships and relationships forged, the challenges I overcame, and the countless moments of growth that shaped who I am today. Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for every laugh, every tear, every late night study session that would always result in a comedy show with my friends, every lesson learned both inside and outside the classroom. This isn’t just a sign out; it’s a farewell to a place that became a second home. As I step into the next chapter, I carry these memories with me, knowing they will forever be a part of my story. Here’s to endings that will lead to beautiful beginnings. Thank you, FUNAAB, for everything.

Highlights of The 6th National Legislative Summit of the FUNAABSU Student Representative Assembly.

On the 10th of July,2024 The 29th assembly had her national legislative summit tagged “Innovative representation; Rebooting Democracy with Innovative Representation”.

The summit was worthwhile inspiring and very colorful as we had series of prominent figures and leaders speak and share insights on the Topic. The Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, Hon. Atobatele, and Hon. Olamide Lawal shared their experience with us on how we can navigate our energy as youths to reboot democracy and have a better country.

Several activities were carried out such as debate sessions discussing crucial topics relating to democracy and the role of quality representation.

At the end of the summit, every attendee gave a positive review on how illuminating the summit was and the privilege they had received to meet with our dear speakers who related with us in love.
This moment made me a proud member of the committee that planned this summit. With your help support, prayer, and care I would continue to serve you to the best of my capacity.

On the 5th of June, 2024 I attended the ordinary sitting of the FUNAABSU SRA as the house resumed its plenary sessions for the second semester.

The sitting had series of intellectual discussion, legislative agendas and responsibilities were carried out, we had our FUNIEC election, and the president of the Union in the person of Comr. Mesh gave the state of the union.

The house discussed matters arising in various constituencies and most importantly we discussed transportation which is a major challenge on campus, I charged the Committee on Transportation to strike a solid agreement between the Student union and agencies in charge of transport on registration of students who are interested in venturing into the business of transportation at a subsidized rate that is convenient for the students

Furthermore, I prayed to the hallowed chamber that we observe a minute silence in honor of the student we lost during the first semester and also to sympathize with the senators who lost members of their constituency and it was answered.

At the end of the sitting which was adjourned to the next date that will be communicated, we had time to connect and take pictures.

My commitment to deliver on a solemn mandate that I hold stands, and with your continued support, prayers, and love, we are headed for better days.

May God bless you all!
