He lead, we follow.
He call, we answered.
He pointed, we looked.
He signed, we resigned.
He designed, we copied.

A crown without gold,
A throne without pride,
Yet he reigns in hearts,
With honor as his guide.

Young but vibrant,
Young but humble,
Young but generous,
Young but wise,
Young but capable.

Not by age, but by grace,
Not by might, but by light,
He walks ahead,
And we walk aright.

We love him,
We cherish him,
We adore him,
We salute him,
We respect him.

His words are banners,
His deeds are swords,
His presence—a fortress,
His spirit—our lord’s.

To serve is our joy,
To follow is our pride,
Forever loyal,
Forever by his side.

Abba Musa Talba Shuwa.

Tribute to 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺𝘂 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗮.

He was not just a leader, he was a father to the poor, a companion to the needy, and a true man of the people.

He was the only person that would give you money today and add more another day. He was the only senator who would sit with his poor people, laugh with them, and spend quality time like family.

When he gave you money and you didn’t leave, and someone else came with a need, he would borrow the money he gave you and give it to that person, then tell you to wait until he settled you. That’s the reason people called him "Mai Hannu Duka Dama" — the man who gave with both hands, Ibrahim Audu Mai Inji can relate to this paragraph.

He left behind over 70 namesakes from different people, a living proof of how much love and admiration he earned across communities.

He died and left six children: @sadiqutalba , @chef_hamzaaa , Maryam Talba, Idriss Talba , @salihi_talba and the last born Sadiya Talba.

His journey of service began as Chairman of Nangere Local Government, later becoming Senator from 2007 to 2011, then served as Commissioner of Agriculture from 2017 to 2018, and Commissioner of Commerce and Industrial Tourism from 2020 to 2021.

His traditional title was "Magajin Garin Tikau", a title that spoke of heritage, leadership, and honour.

The loss of Abba is not just a loss to Our family. It is a great loss to Nangere, to Yobe State, and to all who truly knew the meaning of selfless service.

The Talba family has indeed lost two great fathers — HRH Muhammadu Abubakar ibn grema (Baba) and now Senator Adamu Garba Talba. (Abba)

May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Abba Musa Talba Shuwa.
