Another successful year at the 8th McMurry block party! Thank you again to @_junction416 for having us out for the fourth year in a row to feed the block. We had an amazing time.

Huge shoutout to @chef_koopa @hnd_hld for helping make this delicious food happen.

Thank you to our team, family and friends that helped make this all possible.

Thank you to @roasterbarcoffee for helping keep the party energized with the best coffee beans on the market. Been selling them since we opened the shop!

What an amazing turnout and can't wait till next year!

Photo dump of me & my Husband ❤️

Photo 17 (purposefully placed on number 17th in the slide, because it’s my favourite number), is a picture of my grandma’s rings that I got to borrow for the wedding. It was beautiful to have her there with us 🕊️

We took this on the day of my grandma’s funeral—me, my sister, and my cousins Daniel, Evie, and Anthony.
⁣
Losing her has left such a deep mark on our family. But in the middle of all the heaviness, we found a little joy in each other. We took some silly-ass photos I know she would’ve loved—and looking back, I love them too.
⁣
Grief and laughter don’t cancel each other out. Sometimes they show up hand in hand. 🤍

This has been a hard post to write.

At the beginning of April, we said goodbye to my grandma, Irma Angela Agard. It still feels surreal.

Grandma was the life of the party — funny, kind, and an incredible cook. Even as dementia changed things in the last few years, I’ll always hold on to the memories we made: dancing around the house to Shania Twain and Elvis, cheering at Blue Jays games, and watching soap operas and game shows in her room.

I feel so lucky to have grown up with her love.
I’ll love you forever, Grandma. Say hi to Grandpa and Little Bit for us. Rest in peace. 🕊️🩷
