📍Sparrow + Wolf

Today on World Suicide Prevention Day I honor my dear friend Rasar Amani that passed 5 years ago. ❤️‍🩹

Rasar was a beacon of light to many, including me. He helped me heal thanks to his bands (The Lique) song “I Am” when I was facing the darkest period of my life, that included suicidal ideation.

@thelyfoundation in his memory created a program called “The I Am Love Program” to help artists and hospitality workers with their mental health. If you’d like to support our efforts, please use the donate link in the bio. 🫶

Remember you can also pay it forward by being kind to fellows because you just never know what people are going through. And if you are going through any type of hardship related to suicidal ideation, please know support exists - here are some helpful links ❤️

Last week on Keep It Local, we went behind the scenes of Michelin’s return to Las Vegas.

From the restaurants that made the guide to the people behind them, this week’s Keep It Local takes a closer look at what the Guide’s return means for our city — including a conversation with Las Vegan Eleazar Villanueva of Joël Robuchon, the chef behind Vegas’ two Michelin stars. ⭐️⭐️
