Some moments from our most recent dinner, “The Art of Belonging”. It was an intimate evening in Kansas City centered around connection, community, and the conversations that happen when we make room for one another.

From the setting to the food to the people around the table, every part of the evening was thoughtfully brought together.

A huge thank you to those who helped bring this one to life. 🥂

What happens when you bring a room full of strangers together over dinner? ✨

Our latest supper club event was an evening of beautiful food, honest conversations, and meaningful connections. From the champagne welcome to our four-course dinner and guided conversation, every detail was designed to bring people together.

Our next dinner, The Art of Belonging, is happening August 29th in here in Kansas City at The Solenne Table and will explore culture, community, diversity, and what it means to feel like you belong.

There’s something special about gathering around a table where every detail is intentional from the first plate served to the conversations that unfold between strangers.

We believe the best meals are the ones that leave you feeling more connected than when you arrived.

Because the meal brings you in. The people make you stay. 🤍

A special thank you to @chefcrystalmorris for curating a menu that brought so much intention, care, and beauty to The Love We Don’t Talk About Pt. 2 🤍

From the very first bite to dessert, every course felt thoughtful, balanced, and perfectly aligned with the atmosphere we hoped to create for the evening.

Guests began with a lobster salad amuse bouche layered over brioche crostini with avocado crème and chive, followed by a vibrant spring greens salad with golden beets, goat cheese, citrus, mint, and toasted pistachios. The seafood linguine with sauce fra diavolo brought warmth and depth to the table, while the pavlova with strawberries and lemon crème closed the evening beautifully.

Beyond the food itself, Chef Crystal executed the night flawlessly. Her talent, precision, and ability to create dishes that encouraged people to slow down and savor the experience did not go unnoticed.

We’re endlessly grateful for the care she brought to the table and the role she played in making the evening feel so special ✨

A look back at some of the beautiful moments from
“The Love We Don’t Talk About Pt. 2”

This evening was centered around something deeper than just dining. It was about creating space for honest conversation, meaningful connection, and the kind of vulnerability we don’t always make room for.

Every detail was designed with intention from the curated menu by @chefcrystalmorris, to the wine pairings by @stjameswinery , to a tablescape inspired by the lush, tropical elements of the space. The birds of paradise brought it all together in a way that felt both vibrant and grounding.

What made the night truly special was the energy in the room, strangers opening up, sharing stories, and finding connection in the in-between moments. It’s always a reminder that we’re not as alone in our experiences as we sometimes think.

We’re incredibly grateful to @theguildkc for hosting us in one of the most beautiful spaces in Kansas City and allowing us to create such a meaningful experience.

Our goal with every Dinner Article event is to slow things down, bring people together, and create a space where conversation feels natural and connection feels real. This night was exactly that.
