My baby did her big one. She calls me up and said Ma, you want to go to see Tye Trivett, Karen Clark Sheard and I was like sure. She sent me the flyer and it had my favorite @iamwill.johnson as the MC 💙. You know he had to add a little @choirrehearsalwithfriends into the show. Weekend made!!!! Great concert for the books. Thank you to @blessedameritrini and @chefdeena for rocking with me at the last minute. Shout out to Dr. @isaiahlucc doing great things at the Norfolk State University. #nsu #norfolk #norfolkstateuniversity #homecoming #gospel

Last Sunday was our third farmers market!

We had the pleasure of welcoming our new vendor @chefdeena who supplied vegan General Tso’s chicken with fried rice and a dumpling! The market attendees (including the kiddos!) loved it and we got to see a lot more personal engagement with some of our community members!

Our next market is June 8th 11am-3pm, and we really want to onboard more vendors like the lovely Chef Deena!! If you are interested in becoming a vendor please DM to be sent an application and join us in our mission to provide fresh and healthy food for the community!

Lol, I saw this cover and was like, "Aww, poor Kale! 🤣🤭🥲"
You gotta massage 💆🏾‍♀️ the Kale... get it tender... season it up a little... mix it into your favs. Kale is good 💚 when treated well 💚💚
