@cookscamp Class of 2026 🫶🏽🍀

Still processing how cool this experience was 🥔❤️

COOKSCAMP was a pretty incredible reminder of why I love this industry so much. I got to cook alongside some seriously talented chefs, including people I’ve admired for years (some of whom have been shaping Vancouver’s food scene for decades!) and somehow we all ended up in a field in Pemberton making the WORLD’S LARGEST STAFF MEAL for 300 people!!?!

I cooked up some carnitas with pork shoulder from @cioffis_wholesale in a giant cauldron over the fire and a baked potato bar with all the ‘fixins’, which, as it turns out, is a pretty excellent way to get a whole bunch of chefs excited about dinner 😂🥔

But honestly, the food was only one part of it. The generosity, the knowledge-sharing, the sheer amount of talent, the connection and conversations, the laughs, and the feeling of being surrounded by people who genuinely give a shit about what they do…that’s what COOKSCAMP is all about.

I’m leaving this experience feeling incredibly grateful, very inspired, and honestly just a little bit in awe 🥹

There’s something pretty special about being surrounded by people who are so good at what they do, and yet are still curious, still learning, still excited to cook and feed people, and generous enough to share what they know.

Big thank you to the Chefs’ Table Society for creating this space for our industry to come together, cook for each other, learn from each other and have a whole lot of fun doing it.

Feeling very lucky to have been part of it ❤️ and VERY lucky to have made a whole bunch of new friends!
