If you’re craving a little taste of France without leaving Cape Cod, add Bleu (@bleu_capecod) in Mashpee Commons to your list. Chef-owner Frederic Feufeu brings classic French dishes to the Cape, from escargots de Bourgogne Farcis to steak tartare, duck confit, foie gras, fresh seafood, and more. Inside the French bistro, you'll find moody blue walls, warm lighting, wood-paneled details, gold accents, vintage French artwork, and cozy seating that makes the whole space feel chic and intimate.

Bleu serves lunch and dinner throughout the week, plus a seasonal Sunday brunch. For lunch, we got:

🍋 Lemon à la Vanilla Martini — Vanilla vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup
🥃 Phil's Butter Bourbon — Brown butter infused bourbon, maple syrup, black walnut bitters
🧀 Warm Brie & Onion Confit Tart with arugula, pecans, & raspberry honey
🥪 "Croque Monsieur" — Ham & gruyere on egg-battered sourdough bread

🐌 And yes, we did try the escargot. Served in the shell with plenty of garlicky butter, the excellent flavor of this dish almost makes you forget that you're eating snails... almost.

My name is Tristan Feufeu. After years of cooking for you at Bleu restaurant, I am excited to bring some of what we do here, and more, into your homes.

I’ve recently started Chef Feufeu. A new chance to offer private dinners, chef’s tastings, brunch, and cooking classes.
