I made sure to come prepared for my book signing at the IndigoSpirit Don Mills location by bringing my own sandwich for lunch but, once again Easton had other plans!!! While I was signing books & talking with one family, Easton took it upon himself to go on a stealth mission at get my Starbucks sausage & egg sandwich from my bag and scarf it all down in one bite right in front of all of us!!!🤦🏻‍♀️ He had the family & the entire Indigo staff laughing hysterically!! I guess the Beef Bandit struck again! I ended up doing something I’ve never done before and asked one of the staff members to dog sit Easton while I ran across the street to McEwan’s to get myself another lunch! There’s never a dull moment with this guy!!!🐾🤣🐾 #rescuedogsofinstagram #rescuedog #childrensbooks #kidsbooks #starbucks

HOST & TOAST 🥃 | The Boathouse at Taboo

Ohhhh, this one is SO GOOD.

For our latest Host & Toast, we slipped up to the bar at The Boathouse at Taboo with Cole to learn how to make a cocktail that tastes every bit as good as fall in Muskoka feels.

Introducing the Spiced Maple Whisky Sour. 🍂

Canadian whisky. Spiced rum. Fresh lemon. A homemade brown sugar cinnamon simple syrup. And that silky, frothy finish that makes a proper whisky sour so darn good.

And yes… someone had to taste-test it. We take our responsibilities at Parallel very seriously. 😉
