If you’re looking for a new brunch spot in the West Valley, @sparrowtrailhead in Peoria needs to be on your list ✨ Located at 8156 W Happy Valley Rd Suite A-100, Peoria, AZ, this American eclectic restaurant serves brunch, lunch, and dinner — and every dish we tried was incredible.

The drinks were refreshing, creative, and absolutely exquisite 🍸 The Ham Jam Sam was the perfect sweet + savory combo that was super filling, while the crab cake Benny was delightful and packed with flavor. And the almond cake? Easily one of the lightest, fluffiest sweet treats I’ve ever had.

The vibe and atmosphere were fun, light, and perfect for everything from brunch with friends to a date night dinner. Definitely adding Sparrow to my Arizona favorites 🥂☀️

It’s about time we introduce you to more of the incredible Sparrow team, the best flock around🕊️

Meet Nichole, our Executive Sous Chef and a key part of what shapes the experience in our kitchen every day.

Originally from Washington State, Nichole’s love for cooking started early, inspired by her mom and a kitchen that always felt like home. What began as a spark quickly turned into a career, and over the past 20 years, she’s built her craft with patience, consistency, and intention.

Her path has taken her through some of the Valley’s standout kitchens, including Chantico, Ocotillo, and Rusconi’s, each one adding to the way she cooks and leads today.

Nichole’s style is rooted in memory and tradition, with a modern point of view. Think elevated comfort, especially when it comes to seafood and New American dishes, where familiar flavors meet a more refined touch.

In the kitchen, she leads with clarity and confidence, setting the tone for her team and holding every plate to a high standard. Her specials have become something guests look forward to, always thoughtful, always dialed in, and always done with care.

We’re lucky to have Nichole leading alongside our team and can’t wait for you to experience her work.

Today we are mourning the loss of the Matriarch of our family- I miss her already but am relieved she no longer has to suffer.
